  1. Update: they swapped out the fuel vent valve last week but still having issues. Took her back Tuesday and they said they were gonna swap the fuel tank AND the fuel pump, at no cost since I already paid my deductible last week on my extended warranty for the same issue. New fuel pump at 84k miles? Not bad, but hoping it fixes the issue Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  2. Yeah she's all done. Setting at the dealer right now getting my fuel issue looked at from when I had to drop the tank to install the lift springs. Keeps tripping the shut off, seems like a vent issue honestly Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  3. I had a $25 gift card to use as well so it was even cheaper. Now I'm on the look out for 33 rd glock double stack mags for a good deal lol Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Dropped her off at the dealer. Ever since I dropped the gas tank to install the new bds lift springs I can't fill it up without fuel running up the vent hose. Let the experts figure it out. They put me in a brand new 2017 Silverado WT single cab long bed, I made it cross 1k miles while driving home. Suspension feels much more refined than mine did from the factory, may just be the 17" wheels though. Nice little truck honestly, I could do a lot more with an 8 foot bed [emoji23][emoji23] I took the loaner to the LGS after dropping my truck off to grab my 3 AR-15 lowers, one AR-9 lower and my Springfield XDS 9mm I had ordered from Palmetto State Armory last week Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Could someone with a crew cab short bed truck crawl under the truck and snap some pictures on how the gas tank filler hose runs from where it mounts on the body to the tank? And also how the vent to the filler neck is clocked? Had to drop the tank to install my new lift springs and now its not filling up correctly, must be the vent hose is either kinked or not in the right spot
  6. I don't even have that right now [emoji23] [emoji23] Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  7. I got it to fit, just waiting on a replacement part because I broke something out of my own stupidity trying to get shit done too quick hah Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  8. I slid into the ditch on the side, I don't think it affected the frame but who knows. You may be onto something though Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  9. I've always heard of BDS being a top player but when the crossmember holes don't line up and you gotta start reaming holes you start questioning things lol Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  10. That was the surprise I was holding back for a couple weeks lol Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  11. Currently installing a 6" BDS lift and it's proving to be more than I expected, it's getting the best of me. Can't turn back now since I already hacked up my differential and parts of my frame. Full details to follow, but for anyone looking at a BDS lift, just don't do it. I have had good luck with the McGaughy's lift on my old truck, should have just stuck with them. Next truck I'll know. Should be done this week, I was hoping by the end of the weekend but there are some broken parts thanks to me lol
  12. Does the dirt pretty much just slide off when you hose it down? Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  13. I wish my truck could look this nice for being black, goodness that's gorgeous Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  14. I crossed 82k yesterday, truck is 5 years newer lol Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  15. On the gmt900 trucks the low beams stay on even when you flip on your high beams, only your fogs kick off (some states it's required, others you can wire it so they're always on with low beams). And do a search on Google and you'll find a thread on here regarding disabling the DRL's Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  16. Around 400 a piece lol On a side note, I did an oil change today at 81,660 miles. Also re did the black vinyl overlay for the bowties. I keep fudging them up so back at it again when I feel like it. I always forget to update this thread when I do stuff to the truck lol Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  17. Go HID or stick to the cheaper bulbs. The higher dollar bulbs burn out too quick, but you get good visibility. Disable the running light feature and you'll be amazed at how long the bulbs will last in your gmt900 Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  18. Guess I lied to y'all. It wasn't a few months but rather a few hours haha. Ordered a few goodies for the truck, pics to come soon Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  19. Purchased some goodies last night. Pics as soon as it's done Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  20. Have been contemplating something for the past few weeks and think I'm gonna go through with it. Probably be another few months but will be well worth it. Stay tuned! Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  21. How much did the set up cost you besides tires and wheels? Thinking about doing a 6" BDS but not sure if the extra ~$1400 is worth it for the Fox coilovers. Truck is mostly a street truck anyways Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  22. Truck looks good with only a 3" lift. Now all I need is a 2500 lol Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  23. Do you have the bed lights? That's what I tied mine into, they come on with the cargo light. I can take a pic of each side when I get a chance today Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  24. Looking for a replacement rear bumper, painted black. Just need the bumper painted to match, I can add all the brackets and step pads from my old bumper. This is what happens when you cut it too tight when backing up a tongue pull trailer. Looks like I can get a badass aftermarket rear bumper for about the same price, hmmm Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
