I was just curious as to whether people ran spacers after they did their lifts. I have read that you need a 1.5" spacer on the rear after adding a 4.5" lift to compensate for the front track width being wider.

So I did the mpfi upgrade. Finally got the upper intake back on and go to start putting the studs down and torque them. But I got a new phone lost the photos I took of where each stud came from and brackets. I have maybe 3 give or take studs that are shorter then the other and I’m not sure if it matters where any of the studs go back in or not. I also have two brackets that I have no clue where they go and can’t find anything about it.

Been looking at a new truck... 2008 Sierra 2500HD SLE with the 6.0L vortec 290,000km or 180,000 miles And its got a 6 inch BDS lift with 35's. Been really into pre-lifted trucks as it saves all the upfront costs of getting it properly installed and such, just wondering if this is a good idea to get into especially with the high mileage if anyones got some feedback!

Hello everyone, I currently have the GM Borla Performance Exhaust on my 2018 6.2L and I want more sound. The guys at muffler shops recommended I replace the muffler with this one: https://www.holley.com/products/exhaust/mufflers/street_chambered_mufflers/40_series_original/parts/430402 Part number:430402. I am aware that my current system has a flapper which eliminates drone but would that carry over to this louder muffler?

Hello! Just joined because I'm looking for directions. My '98 Sonoma runs like a dream...except, there is a slight delay in the engagement when I shift into reverse. Not sure where to begin in my search for information and options. I'm in the Greater Detroit area. I've kept the truck well maintained despite the 264,000 miles. Original engine and transmission. Where can I look/who can I talk to/what do I ask? Thanks! and I wish I found this site sooner. Pat

99 k2500 truck 7.4. Problem. #1- have to turn over for a couple seconds to start 50% of the time other 50% it fires up at the bump of the key. #2- idles pretty good but 40% or more loud pedal it starts to misfire. #3- 52/53 psi on the fuel rail. Replaced fuel filter but not the pump yet. Replaced the bank 2 down stream O2 sensor for a lean code that autozone ran on it. Still no change. A while back I recently replaced the power steering pump and went with the evo conversion piece that gets rid of the sensor piece (hydro brakes). I’m wondering if that sensor no longer hooked up might be causing the problem but as stupid as it sounds I wouldn’t put it past this truck. Really hate to get rid of it since it’s a rust free straight clean body obs crew cab 4wd but patience is wearing thin. Any idea on what may be causing this problem. Thanks. And it didn’t start doing this till I replaced the power steering pump. Just throwing it out there is all. One image has a stainless line that deletes the hose attachment piece that has the sensor. But I’m thinking I should have 60psi on the fuel rail.
