I just picked up at 2021 Silverado. I lifted the front end with a jack to get an idea of how it would look leveled. After seeing the picture, I'm contemplating keeping the stock 17" wheels and putting 33" tires on it. Has anybody done this?

I was just curious as to whether people ran spacers after they did their lifts. I have read that you need a 1.5" spacer on the rear after adding a 4.5" lift to compensate for the front track width being wider.

Hey guys! New to the forum here. Previously had a Tacoma and switched to a 1500. Wanting to do a 5” lift on my 2020 LT and thinking about doing 33.5s on 12x10s. Does anyone have any pics here I could see that are similar? Looking at 275/60/r20s thanks all!

So back when I was in college I put on a 2 inch level and 1.5 BL to clear 33s by 12.5. I still rub but it’s done the job. However I found an insanely good deal on a zone 6.5 suspension kit that I am going to install and remove the two inch level but obviously keep the body lift. might be a dumb question but is the suspension kit a true 6.5 lift? And same for the 1.5 BL? Meaning would I really technically have 8 inches of lift? I plan to upgrade to 35s but just curious

Hey guys, I know there are about a million different topics about tires but I haven't found an exact answer after days of research. I just picked up a 16 Sierra 1500 Z71 5.3L (Pictured below). This is my daily driver and MPGs are semi important, but I also didn't buy a truck because of its great fuel economy. I come from an old Grand Cherokee with a 5.7 Hemi. I am planning on adding a 2-inch leveling kit, mainly for looks, and to have more clearance in the front. From what I've researched, by two best tire options with the stock wheels are 275/60r20 and 275/65r20. 33s and 34s respectively. Most people report no rubbing with either setup. Honestly I just love the look of the 34s way more and they are not that much more price-wise, but they are all E-rated LT and all weight about 15-20lbs more than their 33 counterpart. The most towing I see myself doing is a 6x12 Uhaul and a small 18ft. boat, but I do take my trucks offroading/overlanding and in the snow quite a bit. I also do a lot of highway driving. In reality, I would only gain 0.5" of extra clearance with the 34s, and I am concerned about how much the extra weight will affect my truck's performance, especially with the 5.3. Is there any reason why I should pick the E-rated LT 34s over the lightweight 33s, other than the fact that they look awesome? Could a tuner make up some of the MPG loss? Some report a better ride from E-rated tires, and treads are deeper as well. Thanks!!

Hello, Looking to upgrade my 2017 Silverado 1500 LTZ 4WD. I am set on the 4" BDS Lift kit with the Fox shocks. Is there any benefit to the BDS Recoil System Traction bar upgrade? Or any benefit to the Rear leaf springs upgrade instead of the 4" blocks? Secondly, I am deciding on whether I should get 33" tires or 35" - Any suggestions. Don't want 33's to look small, but don't want 35's to look to big or not fit. Wanting the Nitto Ridge Grappler Tires and Fuel Rebel 8 D679 20x10 Rims. Any suggestions on the BDS upgrades or Tire sizes is greatly appreciated. First time lifting a truck. Thanks!

Anyone running a 6.5" Lift with 35's OR a 4.5" lift? Anyone have measurements? Wheel well, roof, front/rear bumper? I haven't seen many people discussing their overall heights.

I'm looking at a 2015 1500 with a 4.3, 3.42 gears. I would add a leveling kit with 33x12.5s. What should I be expecting for gas mileage? Would a 5.3 get better MPG with the lift/tires? What is your current tire/lift/engine/mpg? I tried the search feature but couldn't find a ton of what I was looking for.

Ok so this is my first post on hear but im not new to this place ive used this forum thousands of times in the past as I am only 18years old i started off in a 03 gmc 1500 short bed reg cab stick shift, but up here in mass 2wd wasnt gonna cut it so after that I had a trailblazer for the past year and now Ive been lucky enough to get back into trucks with my new 1500 that i'm leasing, its an LT Z71 with 4wd and the 5.3. Im perfectly happy with how the trukc is as of now but I definitely want/"need' it to be leveled as my whole family Cousins, aunts, uncles, father, and mother have atleast a leveling kit or just a beefy vehicle as now im the only one without some ground clearance, but i dont know which leveling kit is the best choice as i want to stay under 3 inches. So if anyone could help me it would be great id like to know the best kits under a few categories. 1-Best ride. 2-Best bang for your buck. 3- Eastiest install. 4- Best offroad capability. 5- The best kit in general. I have been told the Bilstien 510 is a great choice but before i pull any triggers i'd like to know all my options as I won't be getting the kit within a month or two as the truck only has 900 miles. Thank you
