I recently bought a used 2016 Sierra Denali 5.3L 4x4 in March with 48k miles. Truck has been great until yesterday (now 52k miles) when I ease into the gas it shudders and shakes like crazy until i punch it. The tach is bouncing up and down and it doesn't matter if it's in v8 or v4. It almost feels like it's a misfire but it's weird that it only does it when I'm easing into the throttle or going uphill. The truck has the 8 speed transmission. Has anyone else ran into something like this and would the manufacturer warranty cover the fix for this? -
I've searched this forum for a while and found similar symptoms but I could never find where anyone got any resolution. I have a used 2015 Silverado Z71 4x4 with the 5.3l V8. I bought it 4 months ago with 56k miles on it and now it has 62k. A few months ago I started to notice that the truck was sluggish when going about 20mph and slowly accelerating. I really had to step on the gas to get it to drop down a gear and pull out of the slump. Then a week ago my truck started to idle roughly that felt like a misfire. There was no CEL and gas mileage seemed to remain the same. The engine shakes enough to make the antenna whip and you can see drinks in the center console rock back and forth. I brought into my dealership and they verified the shaking and checked in in P, D, N and R. They diagnosed the issue with faulty motor mounts even though I said it is sluggish and missing. Two days later they said to come pick it up and right when I got into the truck I could tell it wasn't fixed. I had the service advisor come out and he profusely apologized. A manager came out and verified that it wasn't fixed and ripped the advisor for not verifying the work. They kept it another day and said they couldn't figure it out since there was no CEL but said the fuel pressure was significantly uneven between the left and right side of the engine. They let me take it home over the weekend and made an appointment for me to bring it back later in the week and I would get a loaner vehicle. He said they will be speaking with gm technicians to figure out what it could be. What was the resolution if any? Thanks. -
Range Device or Tuner? opinions please

Picked up my 2015 silverado z71 5.3 crew cab not long ago and im sick of the AFM already. The truck is so sluggish coming out of v4 and does some strange shuddering every once in a while under light acceleration. Has anyone with a 2014 or 2015 used the range device? Or should i get some sort of tuner? A tune is out of the question in my area. I only have 3000 miles and dont want to void my warranty if possible. I wont this truck to be a little more responsive. If anyone of you have tunersm which one did you buy? -
Truck almost dies when accelerating from a dead stop.

I have a 2001 GMC 2500HD with a 8.1L, Allison Trans, K&N Filter & 28575r24.5 tires. When I start off from a dead stop it almost dies then gradually allows me to accelerate. The truck has a new fuel filter, and I cleaned the MAF sensor & throttle body (using the proper cleaners) to no avail. Plugs are recent as well. What should I try next?
