  1. Is this problem still present in the new Denali's with magnetic suspension? Eye on 2016 Denali but am hesitant a little.
  2. My truck has a rattle noise behind the dash (kind of behind the 2WD/4WD and light switch switches). Usually rattles on rough roads and bumps. I've taken it in twice now, total of two weeks at the dealer and they say it's the clips of the dash that need to be "re-secured". Within the day after picking up truck it does it again. Now it's even more sensitive then before as the rattle happens even when you close the door. Anyone have a work order # to reference that actually fixed the issue? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  3. I thought the soft pedal was normal. My brake is very soft, sometimes making me wonder if it should be that soft.
  4. Just got over 3k miles and same problem here. Loud clunk when slowing down or accelerating. And not sure if its throttle lag or that I'm not used to the 6pd transmission but it does feel like the tranny slips when giving it the beans. Haven't been to the dealer yet but plan on taking it in soon as my suspension feels off as it gets bouncy at speeds greater than 60 causing the center console, front seats and overhead compartments to shake. Can't even store stuff in those areas as it gets annoying to hear them rattle.
  5. Thanks for the pics Oakleyguy! It looks great. Thats exactly where I would want the buttons mounted too, so glad that empty space can be used for something.
  6. Can you post pics of buttons and their location? And overall pics of you don't mind! Thanks.
  7. Like Austingta stated, I was quoted about $1300 for a Webasto, which includes a lifetime warranty.
  8. The rear sliding window does help a little if you drive with the windows down a lot, which I rarely do. I'd much rather the AC on/windows up and block out the exterior sound of SoCal traffic. But it is a pain to wash because it doesn't sit flush with the rear windshield and for whatever reason, small debris seems to make it's way into the internals. My regulator failed twice and it was expensive to fix each time.
  9. Well the shop that would be doing the install does several every month for mainly dealers adding customer options. So I know they would be doing a good job. When I visited the shop, they had brand new dealer vehicles there having sunroofs put in. One I watched them install part of was a new 15' Yukon slt and 14' Tahoe slt. They make everything look factory. Even the buttons look nice with SLT chrome key style trim. As far as warranty, it's lifetime.
  10. Hey guys was thinking about adding a sunroof on my 14' sierra slt crewcab. I've never owned a vehicle with one but think it would be nice to have. I had a power rear windshield window on my last truck and hated washing it and the motor went out twice in a few years and I rarely used it. So I think a sunroof would be a nice change. I would be going with a Webasco unit. Any cons? Anyone have one installed and can comment on interior noise?
  11. Can any of you post a video from the interior on what the shake/vibration looks like? At highway speeds, 65+, I feel like I'm riding on a sharp bouncy road SOMETIMES but just don't know if it's all in my head and it's due to the sensitivity of the z71 suspension plus the 20" wheels don't help. Seeing a video of what people are experiencing will help me determine if my ride is normal. Thanks!
