I was hoping I would not be back but here I am. Update, last year I had problems with the drivers side bottom not heating. The dealer replaced the unit last winter and it worked fine. It was a little chilly yesterday morning so I turned on the drivers side heated seats. Yep, bottom did not work. My truck is at 35,825 miles. Warrenty will be out in a day or so. I called the dealer, told them what was going on. Dropped off the truck at the dealer this morning. Waiting to hear from the dealer now.

the paper work states: Drivers Seat Cushin Heating Element Open Circuit Internally. The dealer ship had to the part. Took over a week to get it in... worked very well this morning thank goodness. It was 12 in Atlanta when I went to work. The seats felt nice.

The Dealership has repaired my bottom heated seat on the drivers side on 2 Jan 15. So far so good. I hope it stays that way. I will update as the winter goes on.

Update on my 2014 LT. took it to the shop on 8 December about the heated seat issue. I was told they needed to order a part. The write up on my paper work states: Drivers Seat Cushin Heating Element Open Circuit Internally, Parts ordered. The day is the 17th and I have heard nothing from the dealership. I wonder where they had to order the parts from? Heading to VA for the holidays, sure wish I had heated seats that worked.

I just bought a 14 with 20K and I am having the same issue with the seats. The bottom on the drivers side is not working. Sounds like I am going to have a lot of fun at the dealership. Does GM have a recall on the heated seats?
