  1. Have you had any issues with the parking sensors and your bull bar?
  2. Did you paint your window and side trim? I was thinking about it but I was wondering if it would work out. I used duplicolor custom wrap on the front emblem and it turned out really nice. I was thinking about doing the same for the trim.
  3. I just installed the Volant intake for my 15 Silverado LTZ Z71 5.3L. only took me about an hour to installet, which surprised me since it was my first time installing anew aftermarket CAI. pretty simple install, I am very impressed and pleased with the sound of my exhaust now. it sounds like I have a truck finally. I took it for a few miles drive after I stalled to see if there would be any whistling or any other issues. I did not have anything like that happen, only a nice growl when I accelerate and a slight increase in air "swoosh" sound when I was accelerating from a stand still. I haven't been in V4 yet but right now I am very impressed with it.
  4. I just ordered the Volant 155536 variant for a 2015 Silverado 5.3. how do you like yours? I don't have a cat back on yet but I am curious to see how it sounds compared to the stock w/KN filter I have now. have you had any whistling or other sounds from it? Also did you notice any big changes to acceleration? I also noticed a few people in 2014 talking about fitment issues. Has anyone recently experienced that same issue? I am hoping they have updated or fixed issues since then.
  5. can anyone point me in a good direction for a video or pictureven demo that shows an amateur at best mechanic how to replace the muffler for a 2015 Silverado 5.3, any help would be appreciated. all the videos I have seen are expecting me to be pretty well versed in exhaust systems. which I am not, but I still like to learn and take my time when doing it myself.
  6. I am heading back to the dealer tomorrow for this issue. I first went to them for a different issue and after they diagnosed they said my Mass Airflow sensor was bad. after they replaced it, I got another engine light. I went back and they said it is for the catalytic converter. They said there is no reason for a 2015 to have an issue with the Cat. so they are going to call GM and see what they suggest. the truck has 22k miles on it and it has been running fine up until now. the initial reason I brought it in was because it died while driving to work. the engine shut off and I lost all power steering and it took about 30 min of trying to turn over before it finally did. after which it sounded like I had no exhaust and the lights where flickering. I hope no one else has had these issues but if you have can you share what the outcome was? thanks KS for your help and thoughts.
