  1. Looks good! I have the same color and I think the black stripe ties the wheels in nicely. I may do something similar. Never really been a fan of black wheels but those look good. Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  2. Sure does! And here in Michigan they love to use salt. I'd be ok if they just used sand like they do other places. People could just learn to drive and slow down!! Then my vehicles would last longer! Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  3. Pics?? Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  4. Installed a Aeroskin deflector on my '15 today. I haven't decided if I like the look yet. Hopefully it helps with deflecting a decent percent of the nasty little buggers over the windshield though. I'm sure a higher profile one would do a better job. Makes me think the front end needs a good looking brush guard or bull bar. Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  5. Probably just the angle of the picture but it looks like your spare tire is hanging loose. Are those chips in the paint behind the rear tires? Mine was absolutely horrible when I traded my truck in. I didn't have mud flaps and I think that and a few times of doing smoky burnouts really chipped the paint. I'm definitely leaving my flaps on my current ride. Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  6. Those would be HUGE tires! Lol Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  7. Nice! I always thought GM should have elevated the Elevation as a package. Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  8. Nice!! I really like the balance of chrome and color. Mines covered in chrome but being silver it all washes out to be a giant shiney reflector! Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  9. That is hard to imagine. Maybe it was always that way? I have a very noticeable mildew smell when I turn the a/c off. Lasts for a long time after and I even try to turn it off and dry it out for miles before I park it. Just send like common sense to me. First time it happen I had several people in the truck and turns out we all thought someone had farted lol. Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  10. I rarely drive on the expressway, even I do v is only a few exits between on and off. I have the Bilstein leveling shocks and a hybrid mud/ all terrain tire that's 33.1" tall on 20" wheels. I don't hot rod often but every once in awhile I like to feel the 6.2 power. The OP's millage sounds low for a 5.3 because my DIC rarely dips below 16.6 and usually is 18.6 - 20.8 ish. Of course that is the computer figuring the mpg as I havn't done a hand calc yet. Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  11. Had the Falken's road force balanced at Kan Rock Tire in Clio, mi. I bought them at Kan Rock Tire Flint, mi. but they didn't have a road force balancer. The manager sent me to the location that had one. In the first tire the tech calls me back and tells me the tire is shot. Tells me it's so over the place. After checking the others they tell me 4 out of 4 need to be replaced. I have maybe 3000 miles on them but I think that's a high estimate on millage. I love the tires but I'm nervous to get the same ones again. I take my findings back to the store I purchased them at and I'm told the manager won't be in until wed of next week and to call back. Also that most likely too much time has passed for them to do anything about it. Really? I just bought them in the fall and most of the time they were in my garage. Then the acting manager says he doesn't think the balancer was calibrated correctly and that you have to use a special adapter for all terrain tires. Sheesh I'm getting steamed at them. I bought tires for my wife's car there a few years ago and had a shake/ vibration. They said it was a bent rim. Funny how after but her new tires a year later it rides great.. No vibration. The good news is that my truck rides much better now that I had the tires rebalanced. I will be nice to the manager when I talk to him when he gets back but if I get the runaround I may have to drag him over the counter and slap him around until he gets some sense. 12. And on E85.. Those are good numbers. I will say the millage on my 15 6.2 is pretty stellar. I seem to always get 19.5 - 21 on the expressway doing 75-80. Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  13. Took the factory running boards off to see what it looked like without them. Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  14. Installed my intune I2. I was able to tune the engine but it gave me a message that said the TCM (8 speed) couldn't be tuned. ( 2015 6.2 ) the Intune said it could read the tcm and download the file to send to Diablosport so I tried 4 times but it kept freezing up. Never getting above 28%. Grrrr!!!! I noticed a little difference with the 93 tune and bumping the throttle response by 10%. It really goes when you drop the hammer . Now if I could only time this 8 speed!! Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  15. We should name their thread " shimmin' the shakin' Silverado" lol..I do love my truck but if GM could just get off their ass and come up with a fix it would be near perfect.. Oh and new trans. tuning too. Am I asking too much here? Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  16. Huh? Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  17. With what I've experienced I think you're right although I can't imagine someone not being in-tune with their vehicle enough to not pick up on it. I know many people are oblivious though. These trucks shake because something's wrong.. Not a characteristic of the design. Not arguing with you at all I just think it's something in the manufacturing. Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  18. Obviously there's an issue. I bought one of the shakers. If only a handful of them shake then you're saying my chances were next to none? I have no problem with someone posting, it rather MANY people posting videos of the water bottles, etc. Heck I trust that as much as these educated idiots and their expensive equipment. These people by the way can't seem to figure the problem out yet. So much for thousands of dollars in schooling, equipment, and whatnot. I know there's a poverty issue in the inner cities and I could post a video to show you but that would be on my cell phone, not a news channel so it must not exist. Sheesh some people!! I have no problem steering someone away from a bad purchase or at least letting them know my experience with what they're looking into. Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  19. That was my guess also. Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  20. It doesn't seem like it would be that hard for GM to figure out what's causing this. My 2015 8 speed didn't shake at all on my test drive yet started a couple weeks after purchase. Usually at about 72 mph up to 80 ish. I tried different wheels and tires, etc. The shaking stopped when I switched locations of the wheels and tires but it's now back in full force now that I put completely different tires on it. I think it's the issue is in the trans. or torque converter. Possibly the driveshaft. No I don't think we need to just accept it and sweep it under the rug. Eventually someone will figure this out!! 21. Just like they did on my Ford! Heck Ford even did the underside of my Expedition except they didn't use a glossy paint. Just a strange orange texture. Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  22. Nice looking truck Ryan! Makes me miss my '11 somewhat. Each model change they lose a little bit of that "pickup truck" feel. Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  23. Finally got the tires from my 2011 installed on my '15. Liking these wheels a lot more with real tires on this truck. Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  24. Swapped back to the original wheels and tires. Getting ready to take her in for service. I want the dealer to see if there are any transmission updates and possibly have them start looking for a vibration at 70 ish. Hate to take it in because I don't want a bunch of morons driving it, moving it around to different parking spaces every 10 mins, etc. No one respects your own vehicle like yourself. Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
  25. And I'm jealous of your truck having a actual throttle cable.. Not drive by wire. Sent from my E6810 using Tapatalk
