  1. Thanks for all the information. I have a 2019 so my old 2012 never did this. just found it interesting. sounds like I will need to play around in the trailing app some more. Thanks again all!
  2. Not sure where to start with this but assuming maybe it's a GM thing. Hoping someone can explain it. When I am connected to my Ice Castle Fish House and when the truck is not running my running light (I'm assuming) flash on the trailer in a consistent interval. I have never timed it but I would say ever 30 - 60 seconds they will just flash once. obviously if I unplug my trailer lights they won't blink. is there a reasoning behind this? Seems like if I stay plugged in for an extended period of time that it's going to just drain the battery over time. Kind of the last thing I want to happen when sitting on a frozen pond in the North Country. And yeah unplugging is the best thing to do but just found it odd they flash like this and was hoping someone could explain it. Thanks All!
  3. Yeah, From what i could tell they still are not available from boost.
  4. Has anyone successfully been able to put tow mirrors on the 2019 Trailboss LT? Would really like to see some pictures if someone has and if they have does everything work as far as side marker lights and stuff? It's really annoying GM wouldn't have made tow mirrors available for 2019.
  5. Does anyone know if I am able to get OEM tow mirrors for my 2019 trailboss? I do a fair amount of towing and it would be nice to finally upgrade. I can't seem to find them.
  6. I have a 2019 LT Trail Boss and it has just the stock mirrors that don't have lights on them or anything. Wondering if there is OEM tow mirrors for the 2019 that will work. I know I could find aftermarket but like to stick with OEM. would also like to make sure they have defrost on them as mine stock ones do. I'm also fine if they come with lights and they work. and if anyone has any pictures of the 2019 trail boss with tow mirrors that would be awesome!
  7. I recently purchased rock-tamers for my 19 Trail Boss and I currently have a generic Curt 2" Trailer ball hitch. problem is that I don't have the required 1" gap for the rock tamers to sit. has anyone else ran into this issue with the trail boss or the new Chevy's. I'm like 1/2 in short and if the pin would slightly be back it would make it. I really don't want to spend a ton of $$$ on the multi ball drop hitches as i only tow things with the 2" ball. want the max towing capacity to be at least 7500, 750 tongue weight. Any recommendations out there or have others ran in to similar issues.
  8. Just wondering if anyone has any good information or videos on how or if you can set up the invisible camera feature on a 2019 LT Trail Boss? I pull a decent size Ice Castle fish house and it would be nice to see behind it and inside it at times. If it's possible do you need to just replace the existing trailer plug? or does a dealer have to touch it to replace the plug and do some programming for it to display on the infotainment system? Thanks
  9. I'm a big fan of the soft roll-ups. Had always been a huge access fan on all other trucks. This time I decided to go with the GM cover. Very slim and love the way it mounts compared to the old access covers. side bars are a lot more sturdy then the old U clamp style everything stays a lot more flush. only thing i wish was it didn't have the bowtie on it. https://accessories.chevrolet.com/product/short-bed-soft-roll-up-tonneau-cover-with-chevrolet-bowtie-logo-84701058?year=2019&make=Chevrolet&model=Silverado 1500&modelId=491&body=Crew Cab Pickup&bodyId=22&wheel=Short Box&wheelId=651&trim=LT Trail Boss&trimId=5101&drive=4WD&driveId=8&engine=5.3L V8 GAS&engineId=2059&bodyNumDoors=5&categoryId=98027
  10. Is there an easy way to measure the valve stem? i did notice the valve stem does need to be .453 but it really doesn't say how that is measured and i'm not that familiar with it. I do have a trailer that I would like to put the sensors on but i can't find anywhere on the trailer where it says that or online. Thanks in advance! Does anyone know if a discount tire will do the install and not charge an arm and a leg to get it done.
  11. Does anyone know if GM sells a shorter antenna? Would think about swapping to a shorter one if GM sells a smaller OEM one. With the Trail Boss being lifted and already higher i have ran into a lot of places where the antenna hits. Kind of annoying. Little surprised GM didn't come up with something better.
  12. Has anyone used this one on a 2019 silverado? really doesn't say that it truly works one newer vehicles. definitely looks promising though! Thanks!!
  13. What tool do people recommend for reprogramming the TPMS sensor on there trucks? I do all my tire rotations and in the past I just ignored the sensors and where they were. Is there a reasonable priced tool out there that people recommend and that works good to program the TPMS Sensors?
  14. Do you or does anyone else have any problems with these running boards flaking? I really do like these and they look great on the Trail Boss! IF they are going to flake that badly i might choose to go a different direction. Seems if they flake like that any gravel on your shoes will cause it to scratch badly and look terrible after weeks only. Has anyone had any issues with the 4-Inch Round Assist Steps in Black? do they flake or chip badly?
  15. I’m looking for everyone’s opinion on running boards. Looking to get some for a 2019 trail boss. What has everyone put on their trail boss or trucks and what do people recommend? Looking for any sort of review I have one set that I have been looking at specifically. https://accessories.chevrolet.com/product/crew-cab-sport-step-assist-steps-in-black-with-silverado-script-84742421?year=2019&make=Chevrolet&model=Silverado 1500&modelId=491&body=Crew Cab Pickup&bodyId=22&wheel=Short Box&wheelId=651&trim=LT Trail Boss&trimId=5101&drive=4WD&driveId=8&engine=5.3L V8 GAS&engineId=2059&bodyNumDoors=5&categoryId=12062 Has anyone put these on and what do they think of them? Are they slippery in the winter when there is snow? if anyone has pictures of their trail boss with running boards I would like to see them. Would be nice to get something that keeps the mean look of the trail boss.
  16. I've been looking at these same running boards for my trail boss. Are they easy to install? They are spendy so was thinking about installing them myself but don't know how the install is. do they require drilling or are there spots pre-designed to just bolt them on? If they are bolt on it wouldn't get much easier then that. Also if anyone has the install instructions that i could see that would be awesome! Thanks!
