  1. Where did you get the 1" rear blocks? Brand?
  2. What size leveling kit did you use?
  3. Is that the factor rear floor mat? Looks like a perfect fit around the sub.
  4. Here are pic's of my Magnaflow #15318 for the 6.2, no drone!
  5. I am trying to post picks of my Magnaflow kit #15318 for 6.2L...I try attaching pics and it says file is to large any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Using a Mac Pro.
  6. I'm guessing a hard polyurethane, 1/8 in thick. For insurance I glued it in, I only had to use one threaded nipple the 5/8 ID hose fit perfectly on the inside molding. The Volant CAI I took off the truck also had one threaded nipple like I used on the Airaid.
  7. Modified a Airaid MIT for the previous gen truck had a machine shop tap and thread in a 5/8 nipple. Total cost including parts $140, it fits perfect and it's quiet. If you want more of a performance sound you would like the Volant.
  8. The Bose need break in time mine was boomy at first, but now that the speakers are broke in it sounds good!
  9. I have a Volant CAI for sale #155546 w/ the Donaldson's PowerCore filter for the 6.2L. It has 900 miles on it, I would like to get $225 for it, or make me a reasonable offer. PM me if your interested.
  10. I will post a sound clip after I get rid of the Volant "drowning wookies" CAI.
  11. The Magnaflow #15318 exhaust with the kenworth stack has been removed! I now have my factory 6.2 exhaust back with a 22" Magnaflow muffler and a custom tail pipe w/ no flapper or resonator and I'm happy as a pig in sh-t! Sounds awesome not to loud, no drone except an annoying flutter sound in V4 which I had with the cat back exhaust. The only thing that sounds like crap is my Volant CIA. I ordered a airaid MIT 200-996 tube and a couple of threaded PVC adapters so hopefully the factory air box is quieter.
  12. Has anyone besides YQatari modified the Airaid tube #200-996 for the previous generation trucks to fit the factory 14 air box? I have the Volant CAI and like a previous member said it sounds like drowning wookies at partial throttle. I am thinking about getting the Airaid tube and tapping in a couple of these, any thoughts?
  13. Have them cut the flapper valve out it's restrictive even when clamped open, it shouldn't cost you anymore as its right behind the factory muffler.
  14. Billion GMC where I bought my truck, they are a Magnaflow dealer. If the flange doesn't fit have Missle Muffler call Magnaflow..do not cut the flange off the factory exhaust to make it work. I'm going back to the factory exhaust with a 22' Magnaflow muffler minus the flapper valve.
  15. Out having a couple beers at my local watering hole and I almost blew boulevard wheat out my nose while laughing my a$$ off!
  16. Hopefully my dealer knows this..they did have four 5.3L trucks on the show floor with dual magnaflow exhausts kits and they all looked good.
  17. I think the 6.2L 15318 kit sounds Fing amazing!..Just looks like sh!t..maybe it would look better if the five inch tip came straight out the top of the hood! Then I could hang a bulls nut sack off my hitch.
  18. I will post some pics tonight so you can see how hideous it looks. I ordered it because their website specs said the Tip was 4 inches. My 2009 GMC 6.2 factory exhaust was 3.5 OD with a 4 inch tip, I liked that look. The 14 factory exhaust is 3.5 like my 09 was the only difference is the goofy flapper valve and the exhaust is reduced to 3 after the resonator on the 14, and like others have pointed out the 14 exhaust is pretty stout. My accessory guy at my GMC dealership recommended adding the 22" Magnaflow and deleting the flapper valve from the beginning, but I insisted I wanted the 15318 kit..wish I would have listened to his recommendations.
