  5. What did you use to blackout the taillights?
  6. The orange peel on the rest of my truck isn't nearly as bad as the tailgate. I can live it as long as the paint stays attached...
  7. Sprayed Plastidip on all the front and rear badges.

  13. I installed the Gorilla "The System" Set. I also left the single lock per wheel that the dealer installed so there are 2 different types on each wheel. Probably about as secure as it gets without welding the wheel on. http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001AS9V8S/ref=oh_details_o02_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  14. Washed the truck, installed wheel locks, and opened up my cargo tie downs that were sprayed over with Linex. Here is a video I shot of how to remove the caps if they are sprayed with bed liner without damaging the paint around them:
  15. Installed a GateKeeper to hopefully keep my tailgate where it is. Also installed Timbrens on the rear. The ride unloaded feels much better to me, less lean on corners and not so much of a floaty feeling on bumps. I'll be testing loaded performance tomorrow...
  16. Spring Cleaning. First time it has been warm enough on a weekend for a Wash/Wax.
  17. I'd love to get a review on those tires as far a gas mileage and noise since I'm considering the same ones.
  18. Watch the 3 door 99-2000s if the truck has ever seen salt. My old truck and almost all others of that era I see are rusted through behind the drivers door where the 4th door would be.
  19. It's a special tonneau designed to work with the rack. Truxedo really tries to nail you on the price though, almost double what the same cover costs normally. I got a great deal on it from http://www.truckalterations.com/ really worth the call to check prices with them if you're ordering a tonneau online. They will do everything they can to beat the best price you've found elsewhere. I need to a rack be able to haul kayaks and tow the camper at the same time so I wanted something that was out of the way most of the time. Other racks that were easy to remove mostly had rails that were not and prevented installing a tonneau.
  20. Finally warm enough to get my Invis-a-rack and Truxedo combo installed today. Closed Open
  21. Installed my Invis-a-rack / Truxedo combo today. It took quite a while to install, nothing difficult just lots of sealing and interpreting directions, and running out to buy a 17/64s drill bit. Truxedo wants a fortune for the special tonneau this combo uses. I got an outstanding deal on it at http://www.truckalterations.com/ compared to everywhere else.
