  1. They replaced the lift pump and fuel filter and said all was fine. It hasn’t shut off or stumbled again but I haven’t towed anything either. It has a few times taken a few seconds more to bust off when cranking, but no codes. 2800 miles on it now. At least the steering still works on this one!
  2. Coming home from a four-hour trip Sunday towing a small utility trailer, my truck dropped to idle while at speed on the interstate just a few miles from home. I was lucky and able to pull over to an exit ramp with zero power. While coasting the display popped up saying reduced power for a couple of seconds and the engine light came on. While still on the exit, all power restored, message went away, and I was able to make it home on back roads. While it was still running I pulled three codes: P0087, P129F and P228B. Cut it off, unloaded everything and then went to move the trailer. It turned over for a few seconds then busted off (longer than normal). As soon as I put it in gear it shut off. Got it to the dealership and awaiting the results. Truck only has 1,404 miles on it and was delivered from Flint a few weeks ago. All displays read fine, fuel filter, DEF fluid, etc. Engine light still on. Just FYI to add to the list of L5P problems
  3. I’m curious myself. Just ordered one Friday. Love my 16 except for the steering going out 4 times in 22,000 miles.
  4. Took mine in for the 4th time at 22,000 miles. I can go about 5-6K then 4-5" of play all at once. Ordered 2018, should be here in March. Shame they don't still have my color!!!! Good luck everyone.
  5. They retorqued the nut and put on Loctite back at 7K. Now at 13K they said they changed the idler arm and put on a new gear and nut. (not sure which gear yet) They said they found a lot of play in the arm and gear. How can that be when one minute everything is tight with no problems driving to Lowes, then when I go to leave the store is when it let go? I’ll get it back today and see what happens.
  6. At 7K mine went. Never had any leaks. They did the retighten and Loctite TSB. All good until this weekend at 13K. Thank goodness I wasn't towing anything. Calling in a few minutes to have them come get it.

  10. I picked mine up yesterday afternoon and it's much harder to turn now. I called back today and asked if all they did was unplug the electric assist! Def no play now.
  11. Mine just started Monday @ 8K miles. At the dealership now with about 4" of play.

  13. I've had the Retrax Pro Mx a few months now. Like FishinJ said it does leak a small amount. I'm sure the sprayed in liner helps over a non-sprayed bed.
  14. I went with the Retrax Pro MX. Like others have said, just leaks a little around the top of the tailgate while pressure washing or heavy downpour. I have the bed rhino lined so it helped seal the sides of the tailgate.
  15. Puttnutt, Justin tuned my truck on the fly with his computer hooked up. He had my AutoCal preloaded and fine tuned a few settings once it was installed. I didn't have it before so I can't comment on how it would be sending the recorded info back to them and installing their tune yourself. Great people to deal with.
