  1. Just a random photo I took today. A.R.E. Z Series cap, AMP Research Powersteps and 20% window tint.
  2. Fixed mine today with a hose clamp. If I start shitting money then I will eventually get a new muffler and have it deleted at the same time. Of further note, I have the 6.2 and my dad's 2011 Denali sounds 100x's meaner than this truck. Pathetic.
  3. Opened up the flapper valve.
  4. Sure is. I also had the place install a pop lock for the tailgate lock. Love it. Only option I didn't get which I wish I had was the Light Prop Switch so the lights would come on when the rear glass opens. Going to see if they can install one for me when I get my leveling kit installed. http://www.4are.com/product/brochures/ARE_LED_Light_Options.pdf
  5. So you did a front level? If so, what kit did you use?
  6. Block8head, do you have an untinted rear window? I wish mine was untinted now that i have the camper top on my truck.
  7. Took some pictures this morning.
  8. Its down to the AS1 line and definitely helps keep the glare down. The installer let me look at it when they were putting it on, sit in the truck to make sure it was where i wanted it. They had brought it all the way down to the lower part of the box behind the rearview mirror and that was WAY too low and obstructed my view.
  9. A.R.E. Z Series with the Yakima roof system, AMP Research Power Steps, 20% window tint side windows and top strip of windshield. Up next is a leveling kit.
  10. Just got my truck back from the installer after they installed a bed cap and a set of AMP Research power steps for me. My truck is at stock ride height and I am not terribly thrilled with them. They are sturdy and appear to be of excellent quality but even though they are properly installed they just extend too low for me. Maybe I will eventually get used to them but right now they just feel like they need to be about 2 inches higher and maybe extend outward another inch. Going to get a leveling kit for the front end in a month or so. If I am not used to them by then they I will probably have them yank these off at the same time in favor of a set of GM chrome rectangular steps.
  11. Drove my truck to the service shop to get Amp Power steps and an A.R.E. z series cap installed.
  12. Where are you guys getting these Billet Bowties from?
  13. I have seen that stuff used on other vehicles. Apparently it's a pain to apply properly and I wasn't too impressed with the finish. Looked really thin and I am skeptical as to how much protection it actually offers. Might be ok to use it along the lower rockers but I wouldn't put it on something like the hood or bumpers.
  14. With as cheap and simple as this is......GM should have made this standard. It's 2014 for crying out loud! Other Truck manufacturers are doing this. Why couldn't GM do it when they introduced this truck a year ago?
  15. Supposed to be picking it up tomorrow....if the dealer finishes detailing it. This is replacing my 2009 LTZ Suburban. Ordered back in the beginning of January. Summit, Cocoa/Dune, LTZ, 1LZ, Sunroof, Nav, 6.2. Having two kids I would have optioned for the rear entertainment but apparently the salesman either missed it(i went down the list with him and didn't see the option either) or it became an option after we had placed the order. Getting Amp Research Power Steps and since this is my suburban replacement, I am getting a Z Series A.R.E. cap put on. They are both on order.
  16. I'm going with the Amp power steps as well. I just sold my '09 Suburban which came optioned with power running boards from the factory and I absolutely loved them. I like the fact that they extend lower than normal fixed boards. Makes getting in and out easier. I have a set on order and an A.R.E. bedcap that a local place is going to install for me. However, I just saw this video online. Wondering if this plug and play setup is available yet. Would be nice if they didn't have to disassemble every door on truck just to put the steps on.
