  1. With 26" rims With factory wheels and tires. Flow master duels side exit, 2" rear drop shackles, tinted, plasti dipped front and rear GMC emblems
  2. If you don't mind my asking, how much of a trade value did you get for your '14, and did you get any trade incentives? I'm thinking of upgrading again. My dealer doesn't have any 6.2's yet though.
  3. Getting ready to get mine done. Just wondering if this quote is on par with what everyone paid for their wheels, tires, and lift? When I put 26" rims with 305/30/26" tires and 2" drop shackles on my '14, I paid $2500. This is a different shop though.
  4. Damn. I got mine in November last year and I'm at 13k miles, and I drive it everyday to and from work. I've also taken a few trips. You make me feel like I've been neglecting my baby. Wonder if she feels the same... Lol.
  5. How bout dem Cowboys! Lol.
  6. I still have them for now. The roads are too rough in my area for such little tires so I took them off. 2 flat tires in 3 weeks. I'm thinking about getting a 2.5" level with 33's. Bagged really has me liking this setup after seeing his. That and a good tune will be my next project.
  7. Nice! I just removed my 26" wheels and went back to the factory 20's. Thinking about plasti dipping them black also. Any advice or tips?
  8. Perfect explanation. I'm running 305/30/26 with a 2" rear drop and there is slight rubbing in the front every time I reverse and it happened once while making a u-turn recently. Doesn't really bother me, so I'm not really planning on shaving anything unless the mood suddenly strikes me one day.
  9. Plasti Dip peels right off. I actually messed up the 1st time I did it (too much tape caused the plasti dip to peel off when I tried to remove it) and I had to peel everything off & do it again. Happened with the front & back. Lol. 1st attempt (too much tape) 2nd attempt (much less tape & no paper) On the 1st attempt, I was trying to spray it without getting a drop on the chrome or grille in general. Would've came out perfect if I didn't tuck the tape in between the parts where the red & chrome meet because of pure paranoia. 2nd attempt could've been better, but I was tired & aggravated. Did this at 3 in the morning. Lol. I'm happy with the results though.
  10. You can Plasti Dip the GMC emblem black.
  11. This is EXACTLY what the guy at Futral told me when I asked him about Bully Dog. He explained to me how only a custom tune will unlock your truck's max potential. Those yes/no questions will only take your truck so far. That was all I needed to hear! Lol.
  12. Booked my appointment at Futral Motor Sports for April 30th. We decided to go with a street tune 1st since I'll probably add more mods and I'll only have to pay the $150 difference when I'm ready for the dyno.
  13. Has anyone tried the Bully Dog/Computer Chip? Autozone sells it online for $399, but a nearby Autozone has it for under $300 in the store. I talked to someone who used it on his '14 Sierra and he loves it.
  14. I spoke with Jeff at EPS and he said they haven't started tuning the 14's yet because of the new system. He said it'll be at least another month before they start. I'll give Futral a call and I may also try Diablew. I'm just ready to unleash her full capabilities! Thanks again!
  15. Plasti dipped the GMC emblems on the grille and tailgate.....at 3 in the morning (bored).
  16. So far so good. Haven't had the chance to really test it out yet. The ride is stiffer though.
  17. Before: After: 26" Status Crown Wheels, 305/30/26 Tires, 2" Drop Shackles.
  18. Thanks so much! I'll get in contact with EPS. They're minutes away from me! Corr is much further in Kenner. I appreciate everything!
  19. Thank you! I will definitely do my research on the shop before I do anything. But in regards to his question, which option would you recommend? I was leaning towards the HPTuners to not only help myself & the shop, but also anyone who may go after me. I also thought I read on here that putting our trucks on the dyno wasn't a good idea. Heard anything about this?
  20. Thanks for the response! I don't own anything. Everything I know about tuning is what I've learned from these forums and a few websites. I know the things I'd like to change, I'm just trying to find the best way of going about it. I saw everyone saying the best route was going to a pro shop so I googled to find one nearby and found Corr Performance Tuning. I emailed them and that's what the guy emailed back to me after a few previous emails back and forth.
  21. I have a 5.3L crew cab and the only thing I've done so far is installed flowmaster dual exhausts. I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and I've been emailing back and forth with a nearby performance tuning shop. After explaining to him what I'd like to see from my truck, this is what he told me after some research on his end: "We can go 2 different routes, we can get a Diablo Sport InTune $325.00+S/H or a HPTuners VCM Suite package. We can split the cost of the VCM tuner for the HPTuners and also the cost of the dyno tuning. In return I get to keep the VCM Suite from HPTuners." My question to you guys, especially the ones who've already had their trucks tuned, which route would you suggest?
  22. I've learned so much from reading this thread and I will probably be getting a custom tune somewhere down the line. But with that being said, does anyone know the simplest way to remove the limiter or at least raise it? We have 140 on the dash, but can't go past 98. Sucks.
  23. Traded in my 2011 White SLE for a 2014 Black SLE Mods so far: Tinted windows, Added factory assist steps, Flowmaster duals (side exits) Mods to go: Drop, 24" or 26" black rims with chrome trim, Change mirrors and door handles to chrome, HID's, Tune (98 MPH just doesn't cut it for me. Lol)
