  1. No worries at all, I appreciate the help. I did mimic the tables and adjusted the Driver Demand "A" settings as well but I'll take another look. We are using HPT, but we used my buddies computer who has the software so it will take me some time to get it from him since he's out of town right now. I'll get the log file as soon as I can, but does this sound right at all? Also, I'm in AZ so we were tuning when it was 105+ degrees out as well.
  2. We calibrated the MAF to pretty much perfect, during the initial data log run it was all by about 9.6% in all tables due to the intake. After calibration we are off in only some tables by less than 1%. Question regarding KR, I get 0 KR with the A/C off however I get about 4-6 with the A/C on... I didn't touch the timing, left stock... Is this something you see as well?
  3. So my buddy and I started to tune this week, I've decided to leave the tranny alone for now. We put the lockout to 1k and adjusted the command afr, and made a bunch of other changes like you had in your tune. However I'm still getting a lazy throttle when cruising for anything under half throttle it feels like. Really it's anything under 3k it still doesn't feel like it has much power but once it does down shift there is a big improvement. Any advise here? My only thought is that I have 33x12.50r18 MT tires so that's robbing some of my low end power. From a stop and going half throttle it feels great but still wants to upshift as soon as it can. Regarding the 180 thermostat, yea, I commented on that thread. The thermostat is no longer available for purchase, after talking to Lingenfelter they don't know when it will be available again.
  4. Is there a particular reason why you didn't move the lock out down to 1k and decided to go 2k?
  5. NO Rubbing and no trimming at all with a 2" front kit, there is still a lot of space.
  6. I'm going to start tuning this weekend hopefully If I have time, but before I void my warranty I'm curious if any of you have ran into any gotcha's or issues with the powertrain since putting a tune on? I haven't read of any failures on the 5.3 at all so I'm assuming as long as the tune is safe there shouldn't be any issues.
  7. Here are some better pics, 2" RC w/ 33x12.50r18 tires
  8. The front is an RC 2" but that's coming off soon and putting the pro comp adjustable struts on... Rear is stock but with the pro comp shocks. Tires are 33x12.50r18.. Wheels are 18x9 with 0 offset
  9. Here are some pics I took yesterday with my cell.
  10. Here is another pic of my set up, 33x12.50 Atturo MT and Strava Monster wheels 18x9 w/ 0 offset
  11. I absolutely will measure the fender height, right now I have the RC 2" so it better be the same lol I have 33x12.50r18 tires with no rubbing at all so it needs to stay that way
  12. I just posted a review of the pro comp shocks that I just installed in another thread, unfortunately I have only installed the rears but will get to the fronts soon. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/174439-pro-comp-pro-runner-ss-shocks-installed-review/
  13. Thanks! I really like how they look as well.... I posted a review as well in a new thread
  14. Got my Pro Comp Pro Runner shocks in, but only got to install the rears last night.
  15. Cool, no worries. Thanks for trying to help
  16. My AFE Momentum is pretty loud, I don't know about the others but mine is. I don't find it annoying at all but to others I can see it being to much.
  17. Using HPTuners. Truck has AFE Momentum Intake, AFE TB Spacer, Magnaflow muffler swap.
  18. Awesome, thanks! Appreciate the info.
  19. Thanks for the offer, I won't need to know what the ECU is commanding I'll see that when we scan it. I was really wondering how close does the truck run to the Commanded AFR, you answered my question. Just out of curiosity how much fuel did you add to eliminate the lean spot up to 5k? I take it as these are not nearly as pig rich as the older trucks from factory.
  20. I'm not talking about stoich, I'm talking wot afr.. And anyone who is tuning I'm sure took a baseline afr reading, that's what I'm asking for. I know what the truck needs to run but curious to know what it's running stock.
  21. A wide band shows you the exact AFR, its a sensor that plugs into your exhaust. Not sure how much I trust that reading of 9.76, seems crazy rich!
  22. I'm sure this has been covered before but I'm lazy to read through all 42 pages lol!! Question for anyone that has put a wideband on their stock 5.3, what AFR are you getting stock? I was looking on AFE's website at their provided dyno graph and it's showing a mid-high 14 AFR in stock form, I thought that seemed really lean for stock
  23. Yes, the rebate form is on ProComp's website along with some information. Fronts - ZX2108 Rears - ZX2020 The rears are the same part number as the last gen trucks for 2014+ non NHT trucks.
  24. The deal is only good for this month, better jump on the deal before it's over!! I just seen it on their website last week when I was comparing shocks, jumped on it right when I seen it. I called and talked to Pro Comp, they offer a 90 day ride guarantee with 100% money back as well so you can't go wrong and they said that they are pretty much the same to the 5100's.
