  1. 33X12.50 Toyo RT and ProComp 34 Rockwells 18X9... Posting from phone so I can't get the pictures to load, but here is the links. http://i1097.photobucket.com/albums/g357/fernandoh87/IMAG0337_zpscohvha6w.jpg http://i1097.photobucket.com/albums/g357/fernandoh87/IMAG0335_zpshzix3bne.jpg
  2. They're $429/ea from Fox and most vendors as well.
  3. Not today but this weekend I installed a set of Fox 2.0 coilovers! So far they have been great, the ride is 100x better than stock coilovers with the RC 2" kit. The Fox 2.0's gave me just over 2" of total lift also.
  4. Glad you like it! The growl is a very nice sound! Question, I noticed you left the plug in the box for the front air scoop? I removed mine and cut a hole in the thin plastic flap on the truck to allow airflow to come in from the grill area as well.
  5. Awesome, thanks!
  6. If anyone is interested, I have a brand new set of Pro Comp Pro Runner SS adjustable struts fro sale. I paid $210 for them, will sell for $150 shipped! These are the exact same as the 5100 shocks, however they have a 180 deg. collar on them so the lift option is 0" or 2" lift vs 3 settings like the 5100.
  7. No problem at all, you'll be happy with it. I have no regrets at all
  8. This has been discussed in length, I have a thread on here that explains the differences between the two arms.
  9. If anyone is interested I have a brand new in the box set of Pro Comp SS struts for sale. I purchased these with the intent to install but decided to go with the Fox 2.0 set up. These are adjustable just like the 5100 and have pretty much the exact same ride characteristics. I purchased for $210 and will sell for $150 shipped. http://www.4wheelparts.com/Suspension/Pro-Runner-SS-Monotube-Shock-Absorber.aspx?t_c=1&t_s=90&t_pt=3306&t_pn=EXPZX2108
  10. The Procomp black series is a 2.75" strut with springs, that's why I'm asking how the 6112 compares as a direct competitor of the Black Series. The link I provide shows all of the detail, I'm not sure of the price point on the 6112 but these are 499ea and maybe an alternative to the 6112
  11. How do the 6112's compare to Pro Comps 2.75" Black series struts? http://www.procompusa.com/suspension-product-details.aspx?pt=3306&pl=109930&pqq=2239&pqa=16655
  12. Here is an updated pic of my 2014
  13. Yes, you hear it slightly when under normal acceleration. It's a nice initial growl as you ease into the gas, sounds great IMO.
  14. I have the AFE Momentum intake, I really like it! The sound is great, very deep and noticeable growl when under load but not overly loud and annoying. When towing you really hear the deep growl in the lower to mid RPM range, I get lots of compliments on how it sounds. I also have the AFE TB spacer, I will say that this quieted the intake sound just slightly and made it a smoother growl vs an aggressive growl if that makes any sense. In the upper RPM range when the sound starts to go away you can still hear it slightly but not as much in the lower-mid range.
  15. I will have to look at mine, you removed the copper rings from the front? Can you remove them by just removing the tires/wheels?
  16. I run my MT tires around 38-40psi
  17. Thanks! It looks much better in person and in other pics, really happy with how it turned out.
  18. I finally got around to messing with the Transmission tuning, previously we only made changes to the engine. As stated before, I was still getting a lazy throttle and the transmission was even more lazy. Now that we have adjusted the tranny, we mimicked most of your changes, the truck pulls great! feels 100% better!!! Throttle response is right there and there is no delay for it to Down shift, seems very willing to put the power down. We had originally made the same changes from your tune in the inertia table but the 1-2 shifts were way to hard, I was spinning my 33" mud tires in 2nd gear triggering T/C. We made some modifications there and a couple of other spots, the 1-2 shift will still "chirp" 2nd gear but is much more forgiving. Overall I'm very happy with the results for a mild tune, drives like a completely new truck! Thanks again for your help.
  19. Not sure if you are only considering the K&N or Banks but I'm running the AFE Momentum, the fit and finish was great. Its a sealed box and does have some growl to it but there is a silencer hole you can plug in the front to help with the noise if you want less, but there is no rattle sound at all.
  20. Not a problem, I'll try and get a good picture tonight and post.
  21. Here you go, these are not the best pics but will give you a good idea on how they sit. They are about 1.5-2" outside of the fender, IMO a perfect look, I don't like when the tires are sucked in on these bigger trucks and to wide just throws crap all over the place.
  22. Not a silly question, I've wondered my self before. But to answer you question in short, No, that's not how it works. Usually the standard tire sizes will get you a wider tire, most metric tires don't go out to 12.5" wide BUT most metric tires will be taller when comparing comparable sizes. Example being, if you wanted to compare 33x12.50r18 tires to a metric size you would look at 305/65r18... However the metric tires will measure out to be 33.6x12r18, so you will end up with a taller tire but not as wide. You would need to take this into account depending on the off-set you choose for your wheels, if you go with a negative offset you would want the skinnier tires to prevent rubbing if you don't have much lift. Hopefully this helps.
  23. Thanks, appreciate the comments! I have checked for rubbing at full lock, there is none and seems to be plenty of room when the suspension is compressed as well. Yes, the wheel wells are larger on the 14+ trucks vs the GMT900's. I use to have one and couldn't fit these tires without a 3.5" lift. The factory back spacing I believe is +25 or +35.
  24. My wheels are a 0 offset, tires are a 33x12.5r18. Not sure what the metric conversion is. I get 0 rubbing, lots or room.
