  1. Here are the finished installed pics.
  2. Gotcha, Yes If I had a GMC I would have probably just bought this kit. But I love the way my dual cube set up came out, looks bad A$$
  3. This is only for the GMC, and it clearly states it's for 2007-2013. So this won't work on our trucks.
  4. I didn't change anything on the back side, all I did was run my wires through the hole. Thanks! I'll get more pics of the finished product today. No, they are not Rigids. WAY out of my price range.
  5. No I didn't get any pics of the back side of the housing. What did you want to know?
  6. I didn't have to make any brackets, just mounted them to the stock housing. Cut a slit from the top and was able to slide the bracket in (that came with the light) and it held tight. I will say, the cubes don't fit in the stock housing. I had to do a lot of trimming to make them work.
  7. Here is a pic of my new FOG light mod, they came out great! I'll get some more pics of the finished product.
  8. I haven't had a chance to tow my trailer again so I haven't seen the problem come up since my last trip. But I did tow my UTV this past weekend and my truck felt like It was struggling with maybe a MAX 3k behind her.
  9. My water temps were never that bad, only moved a 1/4 when I got the warning about my oil temp being to hot. My tranny was reading about 245deg.
  10. Any pictures up close of the led bar mounted behind the grille (Silverado), I want to see the where the mounts actually bolt to the truck? I plan on putting a 40" Double Row behind my grille but want to make sure I know exactly were to mount it before starting the project.
  11. Has anyone else ran into this issue when towing?
  12. No rubbing issues at all, I put the tires on before I leveled it and still didn't have any issues.
  13. No worries, not paranoid. Just don't like to see a message the my engine oil is hot and that I need to idle my engine while going up hill.
  14. 2500 Miles, whatever the Dealer puts in.
  15. I'll have to look into the Diablo since the dealer can't detect it. I would hate to use HPT and for some reason my motor go out and I voided my warranty just because I was trying to compensate for a flaw in the cooling system.
  16. Here are some better pics of mine.
  17. How did you change your fan engagement temps? I have a buddy that tunes with HPTuners that can do it but I don't want to void my warranty already.
  18. My temp gauge was at the 1/4 mark before hot, so it differently was moving past 210 deg. Like you said, hopefully this was a one off event but it's only May and the outside temp was only in the 90's. Never had this issue in my 07 towing the same trailer and rout.
  19. Mine is a 5.3 with 3.42 crew cab 4x4. The water temp and tranny temp weren't very hot so the fans were doing their job I think. The oil temp was another issue, I really hope this isn't an issue going forward with these new trucks. And yes, the A/C was off for the whole trip. I was WOT, if not I would have been going 40mph up hill. I had already lost like 12mph by mid grade and when she finally down shifted I was able to climb back to 60mph but then I got the warning.
  20. This past weekend we went camping and towed our toy hauler to the mountains to get away from this AZ heat. When going up a long grade about 3/4 the way up I got a warning that appeared in my center screen. "Alert: Engine Oil Hot, Action Required: Idle Engine" I started the hill climb at 65mph, the truck then loss speed to about 53mph and downshifted. It was able to get back to 60mph but then that's when I got the warning. Has anyone else experienced this? The new motors have over 8qt. of oil and oil jets for cooling, I wouldn't think that this would be an issue. I use to have an 07 with a V-Max with the NHT package (4:10 gears) and I never had this warning come up and I've towed in a lot hotter weather and steeper grades.
  21. The tires are Atturo Trail Blade 275/65/18 and the wheels are Strada Off Road Monster Wheels 18x9 with a 0 offset, The tires stick about 1/2" out of the fenders.
  22. Here's mine, 2" RC kit.
