Sorry i dont have many pictures but when I get a chance I will. I have been super busy with holiday trips and getting ready for a deployment so....anyways my tires fit fine and I think the only reason why they rub are because of the mud lugs sticking out a bit. I saw a drop in gas mileage because of the wieght and size of the tire but I am also using only e85 and premium fuel for the performance and the way my truck runs better on it. I was seeing 19 on average and I am an agressive driver. my best was 24. now i get about 15 on average if not better on the highway. and 20-21 best. I do my own calculations and it comes out to right around 15.5. if its e85 forget about it its like 10 mpgs if im not driving hard. worth it though. when these ware out I will moste likely go with toyos new dual pupose tire. best of both worlds and lighter than mud tires. They just dont have this size yet. I wont be going any smaller ever again now that I know this is a perfect max tire size for my truck and what i like to do. Couple more picks below..... http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/153363-2014-leveling-kits/page-52?do=findComment&comment=1508389 -

depends on what size you want and price. I am sure you already got tires but if not Toyos are expensive but they have a all terrain tire with a 60-65 thousand mile warranty and they don't look bad either. If you were looking for rugged /dependable I hear great things about the duratracs. However toyo is also putting out a tire that is somewhere between all terrain and mud tire that sounds pretty awesome. However if your going with a medium size and want a long lasting good tire. I would go with firestones AT tire. I had them on my Tahoe, and I sold it to my parents and the tires still look great that was four years ago and a lot of miles. I also had them on my 2004 Silverado and they looked brand new when I traded it in two years later. I went with bigger mud tires this time and will probly go with the toyos next time for sure. I have nitto trail grapplers and love they looks and they are not nearly as loud as most mud terrain tires. I also have 295 70 r18 and they fit snug. with minor rub at full crank. Nothing I would trim out. and slight rub in the rear when 4x4ing hard. -

Couldn't wait to ware out junk tires. Bought 295 70r18 trail grapplers. Dual exhaust. True duels. Custom made here in n.m. -
2.5 rough country lift level. on stock tires so I dont know for sure with that offset. I have a slight rub on the carpeted wheel well but nothing that I am even worried about trimming. I am going to go get the tires rotated early and I might just put a flat screw at the very bottom of the carpet to keep it from even touching at all. its literally a 1/8th of an inch diff. so minor I dont need to do it. I only rub on hard turns backing up or really sharp turns in parking lots. Other than that it is perfect. honestly check the stock offset on the 18 inch rims from gm. if your not incredibly off then when you get the tires have them test fit them. if they dont fit the front or they rub horribly then just dont get them. when I ordered mine I told them upfront that if it was going to rub horribly or not fit right I wast going to a diff. size. sorry for the delayed response I was on an oryx hunt this week.

Here is a picture of the tire the only one that was not too big I guess. Dumb. 295 70r18 factory rims.
-
sent the pics hope he posts them soon.
-
Heck yeah if you will post them on here. All I have are a few snaps at a gas station. Send me a pm with info and I'll send you pics to post.

Works perfectly and I'm so damn excited. A very slight rub on the carpeted fender well at full lock. Nothing I'm worried about as far as trimming at all. 295 70 r18 on a 2014 sierra with a 2.5 rough country lift. Trail grapplers great tires and smooth ride for being mud tires.it won't let me upload my pictures. But as soon as I can I will. But I have never been happier that a huge tire fit this good without a major lift. Has milage took a hit but worth it in my opinion lol!
-
well I guess im gonna find out if it is gonna fit ordered the tires from discount. I am expecting some rub but honestley I will trim what I have to when I have to. I will update next week when they do the test fit, and I cant wait.
-
Did they rub?
-
do you get alot of rubbing with this setup? did you trim like crazy? the numbers say 295/65R20 = 35.1X11.61R20 do the shocks lift it as well? this may have been covered but i didnt see it....
-
yeah i thought so thanks for the input. I think I will end up getting a 33 12.50 tire instead. seems like a few people are running them with minor rubbing only under full lock and a load. thanks again sorry took me so long to reply account would not let me log in for some reason.

struggling with size of tire.I am looking to fit 325 65 r18 on my 4x4 with a 2.5 lift leveling kit. The tire size is listed as a 325/65R18 = 34.6X12.8R18. seems like it is not going to happen as far as sizes go. I know they will most likely rub but how bad and where? does anyone have any ideas or if anyone is running a lift and is/are still rubbing? please let me know asap im getting new tires this coming weekend and I want to go big just in case I add the body lift kit as well. Just hard to find good tires that I want in size18. thanks in advance cheers. Wishfull thinking I know but I am asking for thoughts and constructive ideas, not negative nancy "thats dumb" ideas lol.

What Problems does that cause cutting out that third CAT? Doesnt it have sensors that mess with smogging and such.I dont have to smog my vehicles but I just want to know for my own good. I will most likely do it anyways, and go with true duels but I want to know.LOL

I have a 2014 with the rough country 2.5 with 2 inch blocks, it says that it is a leveling lift kit. The level is the 2 inch kit for the front. it looks level now but it looked perfectly level with just the front done, to much so. I knew that it would sag if I just kept the 2.5 front level lift kit on it when I loaded it down with anything. Now with the blocks it sits levelish with the rear a little higher just in case so it doesnt sag so much. stock bad picture with 2.5 front lift level and 2 inch blocks. Keep in mind the driveway is not level at all and the rear is way down because of it.

2014+ Truck Bed / Tonneau Covers
travalan21 replied to Green 1364's topic in Modifications & Accessories
Whats on the top of your truck( black paint or protective film) do you have pictures of your cover open? -
had the same setup as you on a 2004. the oval tips kinda dont go with the square look of the truck. That is honestly a great setup and I will be doing something simalar on my 2014. However I think a couple of tips that are a little more square and sit flush and staggered would look sweet on your ride. Maybe even painted black would look even better on your truck. I want that same setup...

Makes sense. I'm going stock rims so honestly without spacers and things of that nature it is what I want on my truck. No rub or little to no rub. You don't have a lift kit on yours do you? Get what you want if it's rolled into your payment anyways. Tires are expensive, and for the looks and off road capabilities it might be worth it to have the dealer cover your tires if they have problems after a couple thousand miles. I wish I would have just had the dealer put way better tires on but I opted for other extras instead. I had an older silverado and with any vehicle gas milage will be affected, ride quality maybe, and how long those grippy tires last if you just driving back and forth to work. I use the all terrains mostly for both off road and on. They last longer and still gave me great grip overall. I also go mudding and never had to get pulled out. Now if the danali is for rock climbing maybe the extra money is worth the better tires. Good luck anyways I'm sure when you're done you will post some sick pics ASAP! Good luck -

2.5 lift leveling kit with rear blocks from rough country. Next will be exhaust, and after I tear up these tires, bigger tires. However, overall needs nothing but I want to put more into it all the time. 2.5 lift leveling kit with rear blocks from rough country.
