So do you have to go through the Customer Care issue before you start a case? I have only commiserated with this forum but have done nothing on my side to open a case with GM. Also I bought the truck in NM but now live in TX, would I go about contacting a TX attorney? Sorry about your trouble but thanks for the info!

Thanks for all the good posts. Until this forum post, I thought mine was the only one that did this. I have a friend that has a 2016 GMC SLT, 1/2 ton 5.3 (I have a 2016 4.3) and she has the same vibration issue. I am hopeful for a resolution, this is the only issue that frustrates me on this truck!

So did this have heated/cooled prior? Did you find a work around for that? Looks gorgeous!

You added a sunroof? I have to ask, was that a big ordeal, both cost and overall?

They are a brand called Radar. Not too popular but a good tire with good reviews. You can find them all over, I actually found them on Amazon for less than $200 a tire!

Here is a pic of my truck. I just upgraded the wheels to the 22x9 wheels to factory GM black wheels. I also put new 305/40/22 tires with it. It's s a 4x2 but gave it a little beefier look. The final thing (with the help of Phil and his wiring harness) was put new leather out of a 2017 Special Ops edition Silverado that had been wrecked with only 1700 miles on it. It's black carbon fiber with red stitching to match the red (Corvette Grand Sport) stripes I put on the truck.

Nice Phil! Do you have anything recorded on the sound from the new Borla exhaust? I have the 4.3, and have a new muffler but no growl. I also noticed I have the same 22" wheels as you on my truck! Love them!

Thank you as always, Phil. I will check out my factory seats, I still have them. When you helped my son with your harness, I don't know if he maybe didn't see that when he installed them, it's possible. I think the only thing out of this that I am missing is just the heat. The guy I bought them from has the door panels that have the MSM built in, I am buying those and going to put them in to at least match what I have. The interior of my truck is the Cocoa Dune and the seats are the black leather and carbon fiber with red stitching (he said from a Black Ops edition?) and he has the door panels for me to match. I have the drivers door panel that has the seat memory already, and was going to switch it out from my factory one. Will this just give me a pretty matching panel only? Thanks again, and sorry if this is repetitive, theirs so many moving pieces it seems. If the heat portion (not the MSM) is easier for me to just get an after market seat heater and switch, I might go that route if a module can't be programmed to recognize the switches and heat that already lives in the seat heaters! My question (and I know there is a thread but not an answered topic that I can find) is this the best possible solution for heated seats if your truck didn't come equipped? I just went through the process that @pgamboa assisted with where I took my factory cloth seats out of my LT crew cab and put newer leather seats with heat and seat memory. Phil sent me his wiring harness to by pass the seat memory (I still have the airbag light) and Phil indicates that even though I now have the bezel with the heated seat switches and my wires for heated seats were behind my factory non heat bezel, they don't work. Can I send my off to get the module reprogrammed by one of our recommended companies and then have my dealer re program the MSM under my seat to show the power seat on the passenger side? Right now, I now have leather and these shiny buttons that don't work for heated seats, but no heat and an airbag light. Looking for recommendations on if I should just get after market seat heaters and switches or can I just have someone program my heated seat assembly. Thanks all!

Hey Phil, Thank you for this! I just bought heated leather seats and I don’t have MSM on my 16. So based on what you said, do I get the MSM that comes on the door panel so I can adjust my seat? The guy I’m buying from has several door panels that have the MSM and do I also need the wiring harnes for heat? Sorry, such great info and a lot of it, I just want to make sure. Thanks again! Can you share what universal seat heater you used?

Does anyone know if you're able to to take off the stock seat cover (non leather)? I am thinking of putting one of the thin massage/heat inserts and have it under the cover, rather than have it always outside the seat. Thanks!

My 2016... Upgraded from 2014 4x4 WT. I hope to put the gloss black all terrains on it and lower a bit.

I'll let you know. The dealer hasn't contacted me yet but I told them that sometimes when I start I get the Chevy bowtie then the radio and then it repeats so I'm not sure if it's defective. Maybe they'll upgrade me haha... Most likely not!

Hi everyone. I have a 2014 Silverado with the 4.2 display that doesn't have the mylink. I have had numerous Chevy's with RDS that show the name of the song, artist, station, etc., but for some reason my RDS won't show this on my radio. It's turned to "On" but it won't display anything but the station # (IE 100.3). I had it working once by messing around and even reset it to factory settings but it won't work. I know in 2014 this has to be the norm for radio's and again I had it work once. Does anyone else have an issue or could it be I have a defective radio? Thanks!
