  1. I had the tires rebalanced, all 4 were off, ride is much better, running 38 PSI now.

  3. 285-70 17, mas is 44 PSI, I'm running 40 PSI...
  4. I didn't think of that, I mounted and balanced them myself, all of them took less then 3 oz, but one tire took 6.25, that tire has me worried.
  5. Well here's mine, finally finished everything up. Level kit, tint, new tires and debadged. Weird thing is, I feel every bump in the road with these tires, like they are a harder tire and everything travels to the floor boards...oh well.
  6. Well I ordered at set of Master Craft Courser AXT in 285/70 17 to see if they will fit... I got them for super cheap. Hopefully they will fit.
  7. I've noticed a noise coming from my CV joints. At full lock, going pretty slow is sounds like a rubbing/clicking sound. It's very light/faint. Had the GF get in it and turn the wheel and move the truck forward and to the rear, turned at full lock both ways and the sound comes from the CV joints. Not sure of its normal, it's been to cold to have the windows down to hear anything until recently.
  8. I have contacs at my local NTB, after work I'm going to stop by and see what they say, they have a 285/70 17 tire in stock, he wants to look and see if it will fit for me...
  9. Nope, rides like factory. I put mine on will 300 miles on my truck. YMMV
  10. So I installed my MotoFab 1.5 level kit, now to see of I can fit 285/70 17 tires on factory wheels under there...
  11. As long as I can fit 285/75-17 tires on my stock wheels I'll just use the 1.5...
  12. Now I'm regretting getting the 1.5 instead of the 2 inch...
  13. I've read this whole thread and have gotten some great info, so thank you for that. My question is two-fold, I'm going to add a MotoFab 1.5" leveling kit to the front. My 2015 Silverado has the stock 17 inch wheels on it. With this leveling kit, and what are the largest size tires I can run with that leveling kit and keeping the stock 17 inch wheels? I've seen a lot of answers for the 18 inch wheel, just nothing for the 17 inch wheels.
  14. Well I'm a 80% disabled vet, I told them they didn't want my lawyer and channel 6 standing in front of the dealership letting the world know that I have brand new truck that won't safely get me back and forth from the VA for my appointments...
  15. New guy here, I joined when I found this thread online... Here's my experience, I bought a 2014 GMC Sierra Regular Cab 4.3 2WD. From the very beginning I had a very bad vibration at 1400 RPMs, it did not matter the speed. I took it in and had the Service Manger ride with me. It was bad enough to shake the steering wheel and he could feel it in the passenger seat. He stated that it was pretty pronounced and not supposed to do that. First the sent the drive shaft off, that didn't fix the problem. Next they switched out the torque converter, still the problem was there. Its been in there shop over a month with GM Engineers looking and still not being able to fix it. Today they called and said they wanted to try and switch out a module in the transmission. I finally lost it, I went into the dealership and told them I'm done, refund my money and I'm going to Ford across the street. They are buying my truck back from me tomorrow and are delivering me a upgraded model to fix the problem. I have a open claim with GM Customer Service, I called them today about the issue and it was a HUGE waste of time. The girl was foreign and I could her someone in the back ground telling her what to say. I was pretty shocked at the Customer Service, she didn't know how to do anything including speak English. I'm hoping that the new truck will not have the same problem, if so I am done with GM. Back to Toyota I will go.
