  1. Got it home, love it... And not 5 minutes in the driveway
  2. Yup High Country. I'd like to find a set of 22's and put winter tires on the Stock 20's.
  3. bought it... Other than a tonneau or topper, and maybe a few small things here and there, I plan to just leave this one alone. No level or lift, no big tires, nothing. Maybe a set of OEM rims that look better then the stockers, but that's only if I get a really good deal...
  4. I liked the Modal A to be honest. It's a custom traditional rod with a 239 flathead and a T5 transmission, but it had one vidal flaw... I couldn't get into it, lol. I couldn't get my 6'4" 228lbs waist between the door frame and steering wheel to even sit in it. The guy that owned it, built it for himself, all 5'6" 140lbs of him. I have wanted to build a Modal A Tudor traditional rod for a while, so I have been looking for a completely stock Modal A too. But, I'm really hung up on the Duster with a 360, so I'm going to look at it again. Funny thing I keep ending up with Mopar's and I'm not even a mopar guy, guess I'm turning into one though (just the old stuff though)...
  5. Sold the Coronet a few days ago. Been looking at a few other classics, a 71 Chevelle, 65 Satellite, 53 Ford Mainline, 29 Model A boattail (custom), 71 GMC, and a 70's Duster. I'm really liking the Duster, it's the best bang for buck, and just a fun car. I sold the Coronet as I'm too busy to do a restoration on the car and it needed $30-40k just to be a $25k car. So I'm buying something that's done.
  6. The Camaro's 10 speed does have different tuning and upgraded internals compared to the 10 speed in the F150. It's a lot stronger. The 10 speed is quicker than the 6 speed manual too, 12.3 vs. 12.5 in the 1/4 mile. I've been looking into getting a 2SS lately, but decided to go with another old car. The classics (1987 and older) don't need emissions testing and can be modified, in Ontarible it's getting harder and harder to hot rod a new car thanks to Orville Redenbacher, and his liberals.
  7. Added a set of 2014 Silverado wheels to my old 91 C2500, makes me want to get it painted even more now...
  8. I had this problem on my 2000 Z71. In my case where the vent tube was, was completely rotted away and plugged up. I went the cheap easy way and pulled the plug where you check the fluid level, put a street elbow in there and an adapter to a vent tube. It's obviously gerry rigged, but it works.
  9. Cleaned the white one, and got the blue one home. The 91 has an exhaust leak I've gotta get fixed.
  10. New tires on the used rims I bought.
  11. Took it for a shake down run before I leave for a show tomorrow.
  12. That sucks, that's also one of the reasons I like my wheels to stick out a bit...
  13. Rough Country's 1.5-2.5" kit.
  14. That orange texture on the lower and underside of vehicles is a rock guard, it protects agains rust from rock chips...
  15. Got my 69 Coronet running and out of the garage too day. I'd post a video, but I can't remember how to link to youtube on here lol...
  16. Installed the wheels off my 91 on my 2000
  17. 144k km so about 89k miles. It's in really good shape, a few surface rust spots, but nothing that can't be dealt with.
  18. My two Silverado's
