    TR84. You should have taken the dealers deal. I just went through BBB. I was given MSRP trade and pay the difference if the new one was more money. no deduction for mileage. rebate cannot be applied. I had 4000 miles on mine when I gave it back. I was glad for this deal after seeing how much loss there was if I tried to trade it on something else.

    I filed with the bbb. I wasnt offered cash buy back. Just exchange for any GM vehicle. Msrp to msrp.

    I am about to close on my buy back, paperwork should be here tomorrow. I had 2600 miles on truck when I first took it in, there is 4000 on it now. GM gave me full MSRP, no mileage or depreciation charge. The new truck I picked just came off the car carrier a couple weeks ago, a 2014 still, no vibrations I could tell on the test drive. There was $1300 difference on the new one that I had to pay. They are trying to keep happy customers but it has been a long road of documentation, BBB and GM resolution center.

    I am also working on the buy back program. I was told i will get the msrp value of my truck on what i pick out. I found one that doesnt vibrate. It is 1300 more than mine. The dealer said i should be able to get that covered. They are telling me 30 to 45 days for the process. The dealer is holding the new truck

    Where did you get tires and rims off a 2015? they are not even out in the US. GM factory tech coming to look at my truck Thursday. BBB hearing set for next week.

    usually the dealer will road force balance the tires first, then check or replace the driveshaft then check/ replace the ring/ pinion gears.

    I picked my truck up last night. They sent out the new driveshaft that was put on to be balanced. It was out of balance but still did not fix vibration. I am dealing with gm legal now and BBB. Also while i was at the dealer i noticed a new 1500 for sale had bridgestone duelers on it for tires, no more goodyear.

    Talked to BBB today. Tomorrow he will be picking my arbitration date against GM. he said it should be at the end of the month. I will have to drive 3 hrs for the meeting so I hope it is worth it. I also talked to service manager, he has not been contacted by anyone at GM on what to do next. I talked him into taking the driveshaft off and taking it to be balanced at a private shop. Also The GM lady at the resolution center was to call me today, no call from her either.

    To be more specific. my truck is a crew cab standard bed. The loaner is a double cab short bed. i have driven crew cab short bed and even a crew cab short bed high country. still vibrations and this is the low speed vibrations between 25-50mph. havent even tried 65mph+

    MIne is a long bed. i dont know where it is made because it is still sitting at the dealership waiting to be fixed. They gave me a short bed to drive as a loaner, it vibrates. I have driven 7 2014 's so far, they have all vibrated, they were all short beds except mine.

    I checked a local shop that balances driveshafts only. He said he would balance mine for $40. Think it might be worth the 40 to take it off myself and have it done. Then i will know. The dealer is doing nothing else. It hasnt moved for the last week where it is parked at the dealer

    I would bet that a majority of the trucks do it. Most people would be surprised if you point what they are looking for. The service manager at the dealership didn't even know his did it until I went for a ride with him in his truck.

    I also stopped by an independant tire dealer that has the hunter rf machine. They told me if they get any number under 30 they say its good. I wont be going there.

    I think the one extra key is that the driveshafts were rebalanced along with the other stuff. I have had new driveshaft and ring/pinion also but i dont think they check the balance on the new drive shaft, just installed what was sent. I still have vibration. I did go to dealer tonite and test drove 3 more trucks. They all had the vibration. I am dealing with gm resolution center and better business bureau to get this resolved. I am worried i wont find a replacement that doesnt vibrate.

    Does anyone know if more than hunter makes a road force balance machine? My dealer said they rf balanced my tires but according to hunter website they dont own the machine to do it.

    My 2011 2500HD that I just traded was way smoother than the 2014 1500 I just bought.

    timfactor, there shouldnt be any tax, you are trading even up. I can understand tags. that usage fee seems high for only 300 miles. Pa lemon law says $.10 per mile. I waited till 2600 miles, I hope there is no big fee if they do the same for me.

    Timfactor, who do you have the truck financed thru? GM or another bank? I am at the point of Lemon Law in PA. IF I can get another truck with the same options that doesn't vibrate then I would be happy. I wasn't sure how they do a buy back when you have a loan so you don't lose money.

    Update on repairs. So far roadforce balanced all under 15, replaced partially seized front axle, replaced drive shaft and just went up today to pick it up from replacing ring and pinion. still have vibration. I took the service manager for a ride, he felt vibration. We took his personal 2014 for a ride, same vibration, he said he just got used to it. The 2014 loaner I have has same vibration. I went to another dealer and test drove another truck. told salesman about vibration problems so he went with me, he felt vibrations. I currently have an open accelerated GM case with the resolution center and filed with the better business bureau for arbitration. I contacted the resolution center to let them know that the parts were put in and it still was not fixed. Their reply was that it looks like the vibration will considered part of the normal operation of the truck. my reply was Who in the right mind would buy a vehicle that the normal operation of the vehicle would have vibrations! Also if that was their stance, I wanted it in writing. time for some media involvement if that is going to be the case. They are to call me back on Monday with more information. I did make it a point to leave my truck at the dealer because it is still not fixed.

    Took my truck in again today. GM tech told them to check the ring gears, so I guess the seal will be broken. They did give me a 2014 as a loaner. ( Thanks Dave for hooking me up). However, the loaner has the exact same vibration mine does and it only has 800 miles on it. Mine is a crew cab, 18" rims. This one is a double cab,Z71 with 20" rims ( just to show it is not limited to one type). They both have SRA tires, 6.5 bed, 8cyc, 6spd tranny, 3.42 rears.
