  1. Now for the performance of the lights. I ordered the SS3 Max version and replaced the fog light lenses that comes in the kit with combo lenses. All I can say is WOW! I drove the truck 3000 miles from Idaho to Alaska right after the install they were worth every penny on that drive. The light output from such small lights is pretty amazing, I would absolutely recommend these to anyone that frequently drives in the dark and doesn’t want to add a light bar. Low Beams, morimoto LED Only SS3 max with combo lenses Lows, Highs and SS3s This is a screenshot of the fog lense that comes on this kit, I’m holding it and hinting on the wall to show the output and cutoff line. Very impressive!
  2. I wanted to check back in and update that you DO NOT have to remove the bumper to install this fog light kit! The first thing to do is turn the tire all the way to create space where you’ll be working, then remove the brace that holds the edge of the bumper to the frame (3 bolts) and remove 3-4 of the lower screws on the fender liner and pull it back to give yourself room to remove the fog assembly. Once you’ve done that remove bolts(6 I think) for fog assembly and disconnect light and slide it out. Take it to the bench follow instructions from Diode Dynamics and reinstall. Once brace and fender liner are back in turn the wheel the other way and knock out the other side. Very easy and worthwhile upgrade!
  3. Hello, Has anyone installed the SS3 fog kit on a 14-15 Silverado? Getting ready to knock them out in the next few days. I’ve seen guys say it’s easier to remove the bumper to install but I’ve also seen a review or two saying not necessary. Excited to get them on, hopefully they are as good as they seem to be! Will report back…

  6. Getting closer to getting a shell form my truck. Anybody have experience with the brand ATC? I can't find many reviews and of the ones I do see some are great some terrible. I also could purchase a used ARE, it's not my color but good price and I could get it painted. Thoughts?
  7. Have you had any issues with water coming in or anything like that?
  8. I agree with you on the commercial styles. That shell looks perfect for your truck! How much did it set you back, if you don't mind my asking?
  9. Which shells are better with regard to accessing the front of the bed through the side windows?
  10. Thinking about upgrading from my rolling tonneau cover to a shell/topper. I'd love to see how they look especially if your truck is blue! Also what brands do you have/are the best? I want to be able to access front of the bed easily through side windows ignition possible. Thanks in advance!
