  1. I'd buy a powertrain extended warrantee (preferably GM) asap.
  2. How many built vs. how many shakers? My 14 at 50k miles is a total success. Shook, fixed, end of story. I've talked to many owners (mostly at gas pumps) and NEVER FOUND ONE WHO HAD A SHAKER. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  3. AGARubberDuck Let's not forget the 35 to 50 mph vibration caused by a ring gear badly out of specs.
  4. Thanks much, abom! Great info.
  5. My low speed vibe was fixed (14 dble cab tx edition). Ring gear badly out of specs, replaced rear axle. Smooooooth ever since.
  6. I believe the term that you want is "mass."
  7. "All the GM1500 trucks do it." I'm sure there are hundreds, of the many, many thousands built in the last three years, but "ALL"?
  8. There are many out there with no vibe issues. Only the few dozen that have issues show up here. I've asked dozens at gas pumps and have yet to have anyone say, "Yes." Thousands built, a few dozen with issues. Not fun if you happen to be the unlucky one, however.
  9. Tiny rumble strip vibe @ 40 -50 mph. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  10. Since having the rear end checked and replaced in the first month I had my 2014 dbl cab se 5.3 4wd I have had zero vibes. Just sayin, happiness is possible. (Now 32k miles.)
  11. Having now followed for 2 years and 600+ pages, observations - The frames are so stiff that they transfer every vibration instead of absorbing any. Quality control for tires and rear gearing parts that may have been okay for older frames is not sufficient now. GM seems unable to "get it."
  12. Who said that Ford Rangers were built in Mexico? I believe all were built in St.Paul, MN.
  13. Please re-read what I said. The experiences are not equal! I've had the vibes (fixed) and feel for owners whose vibes are not fixed. What I believe is just as irrelevent as what you think is interesting - even if it's not there.
  14. So your experience with a vibe Harley and dirt cars have convinced you that GM 1500s will have similar failures? Interesting.
