In case anybody finds a new exhaust kit for a previous body style truck at a good deal...it may fit your truck. It did for me. My truck is a 2014 RCSB and is lowered 4" front and 7" rear. I scored a brand new Corsa kit for a 03-06 Silverado SS for dirt cheap. My plan was to just use the muffler and tip. As I was installing the kit I decided to try the over axle for fit check. The kits over axle ended up fitting perfect and lined up with the exhaust hangers like factory. Only modification was I could not use the kits flange to muffler pipe so I had to cut the stock pipe off at the factory flex pipe and add about a foot of pipe that goes to the muffler. Total install only took 20 minutes using a lift. Sounds and looks awesome.

Another thing about my vibration going away is that if at all possible...I have run only E85 the last two fill ups on my truck. It's huge difference in power. To me it feels like when you throw bolt-ons (headers,intake, exhaust)'at it but all you did was switch fuels. My truck is a LT but I have the factory aluminum 17" wheels on it with the Bridgestone duelers as I optioned not for the 20's as I would go aftermarket in the future I thought. I am about to leave here soon to go on another 100 mile freeway trip. I'll report back if my vibrations were present at all. I will be on a different freeway that is older just to compare.

That is possible but to answer your question no I did not locate the same wheel stud to wheel stud hole. I only replaced the wheels per corner they way they were removed. I still have no vibration. It's weird I had a pretty serious vibration. I'm waiting for it to come back. Can't see how it could just go away.

So I have an update to post on my truck. I have been driving for the last week on aftermarket 22" wheels with 305/40/22 tires. I borrowed these trying to rule out factory wheels / tires for my own diagnostic purpose before I wasted time at the dealer with my vibration issue. Yesterday I swapped back to my factory wheels and drove home 11 miles on the freeway. I put the wheels on at the original location that I removed them. Driver front was put back to driver front etc... . I did this so I wouldn't be changing anything except back to stock wheels. My truck now has 900 miles on it. Well it's crazy to say but all of my vibration is gone. Yes gone. I have put 150 freeway miles on the truck and I now have no vibration since swapping back to stock. It's so weird. My vibration before at 600 miles with the stock wheels and then the 22's was so bad it hurt my teeth. I cannot explain why it gone but it's gone. I'll report back on updates as my miles go up and if it returns. One thing I did notice when I removed my stock wheels that all of my lug nuts were not very tight. I barely had to use any pressure to remove them. Maybe that was my issue but I doubt it.

Hello all, I am here to relate to all of the vibration issues that we are having with our trucks. Two weeks ago I bought a 2014 RCSB 5.3L Silverado. I bought the truck brand new with 8 miles on it. When I was driving home on the freeway I noticed the cab vibration when I approached 60 mph and we'll onto 75mph. Being that I was coming from a 2004 sierra with 100k miles that drove way smoother I knew this wasn't right. I now have 650 miles on the truck and have been driving it to see if it would get better...it's not and it's getting worse. the cab shake is so bad and there is a faint drone noise that gives me a headache and oddly hurts my teeth when I travel at freeway speeds. I have a 5 mile freeway commute to work and am totally beat up when I get there. Last week I went to the dealer and explained my issue. Service manager clearly was lying when he said "wow I have never heard of that problem" . This is a very high volume dealer also. I have an appt for next week to have the truck checked out. It very clear after reading all the complaints there is no fix for this as of yet and not really sure I want my truck torn into just to have the problem still be there or get worse by what some of you have wrote. On a side note I have done a little troubleshooting by swapping wheels with a buddy who has a 2011 silverado that drives perfect. He has aftermarket 22" wheels so that's what I put on. We'll yep problem with my truck still exist even with his 22's so a out of balance tire or wheel is ruled out. I have been a dedicated chevy owner for the last 20 years of my driving experiance. I even own a 1963 chevy c10 that my grandfather bought new...it also drives smoother at freeway speeds than my new 2014. I'm very disappointed in chevy about not figuring this out yet. I can almost not drive my truck anymore due to pain it causes me. If they can't fix it this will for sure be my last chevrolet. I'm total floored a 2014 chevy truck can be so shaken and vibrate that it causes pain in my teeth. I also have spoken to two other 2014 silverado owners who one says his as been at the dealer many times for this issue and still not fixed and another that is ready to off his ASAP. Just wanted to share my experiance on this bad deal with all of you as we all are suffering with our expensive trucks that drive like a worn out roller coaster. TRUCK of the year!!!! What a joke...
