Yes had my 2014 CC Sierra Z71 bought back in August after battling vibes for a year. Full buyback including payments for the year. I had the steering wheel vibes between 70-90km/hr. RF balancing, new tires(Michelin), new rear end, new upper steering shaft. Nothing changed. Went to arbitration and arbitrator drove vehicle and immediately acknowledged vibes. Long story short bought a Ram Laramie and still love it. Would have bought a Tundra but can't get a crewcab with the bigger box. -

For any Canadians out there with vibrations don't give up just recently had my 2014 GMC Sierra CC Z71 SLE 1500 bought back after one year of vibrations. purchased in August 2014 had the steering wheel vibration between 70 and 90 km an hour. Dealer road force balanced tires just like everybody else no difference then replaced whole rearend brake to brake again no fix. Later replaced steering shaft hoping to mask vibrations. Gm engineer brought in and says operating as designed, says vibrations that It does have are due to the AFM but if you put the truck in manual mode vibrations were still there. All along my dealer was on my side and continued to acknowledge the vibrations (service mgr head mechanic) but after the engineer stated it was normal they were told not to work on the truck anymore. 79 days in the shop the first 4 months and that was enough filed for CAMVAP which is our Canadian lemon law that's free. Be patient as the process takes a while but it works. Keep a log of everything and keep your cool as it goes a long way when calling the dealers staff to be your witness at your arbitration hearing. Results were full buyback with no deductions for mileage 20000 km's. Finally I did something I swore I would never do and bought a Ram 1500 Laramie for the same price as a Sierra SLE and am loving every bit of it. -

Has anyone out there gone through the Canadian Arbitration process. Submitted all my paperwork almost 2 weeks back for my 2014 Sierra cc with the 40-50 mph steering wheel vibration. Truck received the usual RF balancing, complete rear end replacement and a new upper intermediate steering shaft, all to no avail. Gm engineer says operating as designed. -

Canada does have what is called CAMVAP which is like an arbitration process. Bought my 2014 Sierra 4x4 CC Z71 back in August and the dealer has had it for a combined 11 weeks . New rear end, tires and various other parts and RF balance and it still vibrates. Dealer has been very cooperative and is aware if not fixed next try CAMVAP will become involved. -

Well after 8 long weeks I finally have my 2014 Sierra 4x4 LTZ with the 3.08 gears back. I had the 45-55 mph steering wheel vibration pretty much from day 1. First they did the road force, then the electronic vibration analysis. Then did the ring and pinion thing, all along the head mechanic wanted to order a whole new rear diff. After 6 weeks straight in the shop GM finally sent a field engineer to assess the truck who said order a rear diff. 2 more weeks and voila a new rear diff and Vibration gone. I agree with others that it doesn't help to lose your cool but 8 weeks to fix really tests ones patience. -

td33 be happy you were fixed and happy in 6 days. My Sierra has now been in the shop for SIX WEEKS STRAIGHT for a 45-55 mph steering wheel shake. I have told them I won't take it back till it's fixed or bought back. -

After 5 weeks straight in the shop for the 45-55 mph steering wheel shake GM engineers tell them to rotate tires which still shows vibration coming from rear end. Head mechanic wanted to order a new rear end 3 weeks ago but GM seems content to push me to the boiling point. Somebody is going to pay for this BS and it's not going to be me. -

4 WEEKS straight in the shop for a steering wheel vibration between 40-50mph and still no fix. Engineers now want to do do another vibration analysis this time mounting their tool under the truck not on the steering wheel where they did their 1st test 3 weeks ago. New rear end parts did nothing , RF balancing did nothing. My service dept is good at doing nothing. I am in Canada where we have no Lemon law just CAMVAP anyone else in Canada having issues. Owned truck 10 weeks been in shop for 5 weeks BRUTAL -

Sierra What's that I forgot what mine looks like. 21 days straight in the shop for the 40-50 mph steering wheel vibration, they have my rear diff apart waiting for parts that they think won't fix it. Then they say GM will let them replace rear diff if all else fails. -

Thanks PMurray truck is still in shop and they are looking at this. They said they had 1 like mine and replaced the rear end in it and solved the steering wheel vibration. -

Forgot to mention vibration only occurs when under load or on the gas not when coasting between 45-55 mph -

My turn to join this never ending issue. Took my 2014 sierra 1500 cc ltz in for it's 2nd visit today to look at steering wheel vibrations. Problem has been there since new and had rf balancing on tires done at 500 miles, mechanic said it felt fine after. Sorry felt exactly the same, vibration starts at 45 mph and continues to 55mph but only in the steering wheel. Does anyone remember if there was a fix for this type of vibration, sorry not enough time to read through all 212 pages for ideas. Presently at 1900 miles and curious what dealer will try and say this time.
