  3. The jump seat trucks don't have that connector. People have been cutting the big connector off the console harness and splicing the necessary leads. The portion of the HMI in the pictures is directly behind the glove box, near the in cabin air filter.
  4. There is a second port on the HMI where the front USB ports are wired into, but the port is not there unless you have the console from the factory. Different part number. On the 2014 trucks anyway. On the 2015 trucks they all have the 2 port version. On the bench seat models the second port connects to the single USB in the glove box. Check my gallery, I pulled the glove box and took some pics of the HMI in a 2015.
  5. Should be pretty easy in reverse. What color is your interior? I may do a swap / purchase deal, if you're interested.
  6. Hey guys, I had a 2015 loaner for a couple of days and my curiosity got the better of me. I had to see what the new in-dash USB harness looked like, so I popped the glove box out and snapped a few pics. I don't know if the info will be helpful or not, but if someone with a '15 is looking at doing a console swap, this may be a way to get the front USB's working as intended. Also got the actual part number, too. Here they are:
  7. On the 2015, changes for the trucks note that there are USB ports in the glove box on trucks with the bench seat. I'd be interested in the pigtail that runs to it; where it goes, is it a branch off the harness that goes under the jump seat, etc. I'm looking at swapping my jump seat for the center console in my '14, but the second set of USB ports don't have a hookup and that is keeping me from doing it. I'm thinking this harness from the '15 trucks could be made to work. Tbarn, maybe you could look at one of the 2015's on the lot and see what it looks like? Thanks.
  8. Yesterday I bought a pair of compete front door panels off a totaled 2014 SLT that had the power fold mirrors. I got the switch plates, wiring harness, etc. The mirrors were toast - wicked rollover. But I got one of them anyways that seemed to be intact except for the outer housing and the mirror. I'm going to experiment with the different harnesses and see what I can find. I want to make this work correctly before I pop for the mirrors. They're a bit spendy. These parts I got dirt cheap. I'll post pictures and part numbers as I go along. I read on the other silveradosierra forum that if you swap a complete set of switches that have been previously programmed, this should work. One guy did the exact swap I'm doing and said it works perfect. We'll see...
  9. The dealership has to program a new fob. You can't do it. And they charge for that "service".
