  1. I'd be a player at around 25k with the salvage title. Love the look. Well done. https://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/7565558588.html
  2. Judging by the door lines, that's a Sierra. Unless Chevy is going to abandon that stupid swoosh front fender thing (hopefully). In any case this will be the biggest mid-cycle "refresh" in GM truck history. It's not going to look anything like it's predecessor, which is a very good thing. Looks like a box off the HD's, and different wheel well arches. Hopefully HD style. I hate the wonky arches on the current Sierra. Going to be big discounts on the pigs on the lot pretty soon.
  3. Probably going with another brand next time. The decontenting on this revised Sierra will be epic. Can you imagine how much the GM brass is hating having to step it up to compete with Ram? They will be cutting corners anywhere they can to offset what they are having to spend on the "all new" interior. And they still have those goofy ass wheel wells. The clown face on the current Sierra is what made me leave the '19 Denali I had reserved on the lot. So disappointing.
  4. They aren’t the first, but they are by far the worst.
  5. K2's have a telescoping steering wheel as well. At least the SLT and Denali do. The current Yukon and Tahoe have both the turn signal indicator and the blind spot alert (both are yellow) in the mirror. I drove my brother's '18 Yukon SLT and they don't interfere at all. And the mirrors are smaller than the ones on the T1's. Decontenting is a way of life at GM.
  6. Read through the entire GM fleet order guide. Biggest omissions I’ve noticed so far: 1. No adaptive cruise, only “following distance indicator” as part of the “Driver Alert Package II” , not included with “Driver Alert Package I”. 2. HUD, 360 Surround Vision cameras and rearview HD camera mirror only available as an option on Denali as part of the CWW Technology Package. N/A on SLT. Pictures online suggest these will be available on the AT4. No mention of the AT4 in the guide. 3. No Z71 option. Now called X31 Off Road Package. Possibly only available on the AT4? As others have mentioned, 6.2 + 10spd only available on 4WD versions. Missing Adaptive cruise is disappointing but not a deal killer for me as I rarely even use regular cruise. If the AT4 has the CWW tech Package, I’m in.
  7. "" Will the MultiPro prevent itself from opening into mounted ball hitch?NO. This is the biggest issue we can see with the MultiPro going forward. The inner gate is fully susceptible to damage from a mounted trailer hitch. GMC does mention that a warning sticker will be present to remind owners not to do just this. Owners will have to remember going forward that if they leave a ball hitch mounted, the MultiPro WILL HIT IT. "" How freakin' STOOPID! For all the engineering that went into the tailgate, it seems no one was thinking about what it was actually going to be attached to. I keep my ball hitch mounted all the time as I tow a trailer a few times a week. I can't believe there isn't some type of failsafe for this. While I myself could probably remember to not open the tailgate with the ball installed, I'm sure my wife or kids would not. There will be MANY of these fancy tailgates with ball dents in them. They should just manufacture the dent into them.
  8. Someone asked me to repost the pictures. Not sure what happened to them, and I can't edit the original post, so here are the pics.
  9. Just turned 40K.
  10. Dead battery at 2 years, 8 months. Not too difficult to swap out if you know what you're getting into, but WAYYY more difficult that just replacing a battery should be. Watch the YouTube video where the guy flips the battery on its side when removing and installing. This way you don't have to move the coolant reservoir. Great tip. https://youtu.be/35ih6Ncd_Eg The worst part was the $250 battery, which was the cheapest one AutoZone had. 5 year, 100% replacement warranty though. ALSO, the guys (and gal) at my local AutoZone were great as usual. They offered to swap it out for me if I brought it back during daylight hours. Said it would take 30 - 45 minutes, as they had replaced several already. Doesn't hurt to ask!
  11. Does your charging lid charge, and does it show the indicator on the screen?
  12. Sorry dude, I was just trollin'. The build picture was from some guy in Dubai. Said the dealer there did it for him. I don't have rear vents. People have been bitching about that since late-2013 when these trucks hit the showrooms. It's a glaring omission, but really, the ventilation in the rear of these trucks works fine. Even in Dallas in August. Doesn't look too hard actually. Fabbing up the plate would be the hardest part. Plenty of room to run ducts through the console.
  13. Yeah, mine looks like this:
  14. That's where my a/c vents are. I'd have to pick another location.
