    Has anyone mounted a 30" or so light bar to the front of their truck using the tow hooks? I was thinking it would be a nice place to put one as it would take the bumps and dings from people pulling into parking spacers better then your paint would. My only concern is that it might interfere with the park sensors. Thoughts?

    This will give a cleaner gloss finish then plastip will (unless done with a professional sprayer). Vinyl will generally last 3-4 years with out fading or drying out. Its also real cheap. I guarantee you could get some one to do your door trim, mirror caps and door handles for 100$. Ive had quite a few things wrapped over the years with great success. Surprised no one else has mentioned this yet... You can also get it in colors. It would be pretty easy to match the black, whites grays and such.

    They are different parts. The 1500 steps and the 2500 steps are not interchangeable. They have different part numbers on the AMP webpage.

    to answer this 285/60r20 rub with a 2" level. i trimmed out the fender liner about 4"x4" in the back inside corner and now I'm clear. I got it to rub at full lock coming into a ramped parking lot relativly quick but it was very minor on one side only. G good enough for me!
