  1. I’ve been running 5100s on all 4 corners with the fronts at max height, going on 3 years now. I like the ride better than what the ranchos they replaced gave me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Got the bumpers finished up, I’m on the fence about keeping parking sensors as is or painting them now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I’d be cool even just getting the stock window in there to slide down instead of sideways versus cutting and adding the larger one hah. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I would like it as my back window is tinted. When I slide it open, that side becomes twice as dark and you can’t see out of it.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Before I swapped headlight assemblies, I added the first version of the vled lmz led lights, had a very faint flicker on my passenger side lol. Couldn’t notice unless I was at a stop light and could see it reflecting on the vehicle in front of me. Never noticed it driving though. 2015 SLT. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Will you snap some pics of the blendmount? I’ve got the lane sensor deal behind my mirror and haven’t decided if it will fit. Did you tap into the wires in the mirror? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Wow this thread is a beast! Can someone give me the current part numbers for wiring harnesses to swap from DL3 to DQS mirrors to have full functionality; or would I need to get these from Phil? I’ve got a 2015 SLT 1500 CC, DL3 mirrors and truck has the seat/mirror memory option. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Or you could swap it and all the other lights along the dash out to red?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I think You’re right, that’s why I told him he’d probably have to buy a new truck to make the swap lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Pretty sure GMC and Chevy are both blue now. If your truck was/is compatible with the red clusters though, you’ll probably have to buy a new truck to swap a new blue one in lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. You are spot on with that. Taking turns is a new sensation again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. It’s the only set I’ve ever had that I haven’t wanted to replace. I was referring to new tires, I guess shoes could be either/or now that I think about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Got the new shoes put on, and did some debadging and rebadging. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Is your 18 the 6 or 8 tranny? Edit* didn’t see more posts after this. That’s disappointing the 8’s are having issues Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. No problem, hope it solves your issues like it did mine.
  16. "manual" mode on the column shifter. https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?share_fid=33003&share_tid=195079&url=http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/applications/tapatalk/index.php?/topic/195079-%22manual%22-mode-on-the-column-shifter%2E&share_type=t Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Yea it will shift for you just like always, the only difference is it will constantly be in v8. no hunting for gears while deciding to switch between v4/v8. It will start to rev and you’ll know when your maxing 5th gear. I drove like that in town or on back country roads, anywhere the speed was like 45 or less. shift it up to 6th if your hitting a highway or interstate, this will also activate the afm again, anytime you go back to 5th or lower and it’ll be off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. If your truck has the option, put it in manual mode and set it to 5th gear. It’ll be good to around 40-45 mph if my memory is ok, maybe faster. As long as you stay in 5th gear or less, it turns the afm off, 6th it will come back on. This is how I was driving in town to experiment, and what ultimately made me decide the afm was causing my issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. This is what I have, I went with it bc I went up a size in tires and wanted to reprogram the speedometer for that, witch it also will do. There’s some modules out there made to specifically turn AFM off and that’s it, there’s plenty of better tuners out there too. This one fit my needs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I’m getting .1 better after I turned it off lol. I reset one of the tripometers when I did it to track the difference. Obviously it’s not real scientific, but hey it’s not several mpg worse either. I haven’t had any issues with warranty, but I’ve also only ever made one claim; and that was bc the haptic motor on the left side of the driver seat went out. I turned it back to stock prior to taking it in for that, I have left it tuned for all my oil changes there though, I get them done at the dealer I bought it from. Diablo claims the gm techs can’t see that you’ve used their product once you return it to stock, There’s plenty of debate over that. I was closing in on driving beyond any mileage the standard warranties would cover for any power train related stuff, so I went ahead and did it. I’ve since messed with the firmness of the shifts and some little things like that, but it’s all still the “canned tunes” options that come with it, I haven’t had a true tune. To me, It’s one of the best investments/mods I’ve made/done. If anything, just for the peace of mind of knowing I don’t need to concentrate on how I use the gas pedal in certain scenarios, I can just drive and enjoy the truck. 21. I had exact same issues bud, 2015 Sierra. I turned the afm off and that’s all gone, I swear to you. Drives like a whole new truck. I bought an intune, but didn’t really do any other mods beyond adjust my speedo for larger tires. It’s been well over a year and I haven’t noticed any problems in the areas I would always have them, like certain hills that it wouldn’t make up its mind what gear to go in, I just go up smoothly now. Can let off and coast a bit and get back on it without a crazy clunk and hard shift too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. The ol’ girl will be getting new shoes put on sometime this week. I’ll have some used k02’s for sale soon as I do haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I’ve fought that battle of seeing at night enough, kept it legal this go around and just had the back tinted a bit darker to give the effect that the fronts are darker. OP, you could look into the pods that mount on your hood right below the window as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Off all day man, geez I love that red on our trucks. All the lower body lines match so nice with the dam removed. Took mine off a good while ago (year or more), no regrets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I finally swapped my chrome door moldings out for painted ones after putting it off for the last 2+ years haha. Went ahead and removed the Sierra badges as well. Side note: That tape on the lettering is no joke to get off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
