    I had SRAs and a BAD vibration. Swapped my wheels and tires out for 20s with more SRAs. Truck rides fine now. Nice try, but don't spread ignorance for gospel.

    Since a few posters on here were so quick to tell me that my vibration would be back after a few miles here I am... Driven about 1,000 miles since swapping my tires out from the factory 265/65/18 Goodyear SRA. Truck rides smooth as silk. No more vibrations. Really enjoying this truck.

    People are posting their dealings with GM. If they want to post that GM fixed it with tires than what is the harm in that ? Some of you guys on here are like miserable old women. Almost like you enjoy having a vibrating truck so you have something to whine about.

    I am not disagreeing that there is a problem with some people's trucks. My point is that it is not all doom and gloom with every Silverado like some posters would make it out to be on here. I also do not believe that this forum is an accurate representation of the whole populous of GM truck owners. I had five 14-15 Silverados in the shop this week including mine. I asked every owner if they had a shake or vibration and they all looked at me like I had a 3rd eyeball. So that means 0/5 people had a vibration problem. Does that really depict all Silverado owners ? No it doesn't. Just like this forum does not. Also, only 1 of those 5 people are on this forum, ME. Why did I join you ask ? Thats because I had a vibration in my truck. Getting back on topic, I just put my OEM 20" wheels on with new tires and guess what ? NO MORE vibration. My problem was fixed with tires. It was made better by my Chevy dealership and totally resolved with new tires.

    Of course there is going to be more people with vibration problems on this forum. Do you really think that the people without the problem would sign up for a forum to read about other peoples problems ? I stumbled across this forum when I had a vibration, that was cleared up with tires. While I am not denying that there is a problem with SOME people's trucks. Some members on here act like GM is purposely out to get people and have since launched a witch hunt against GM. My dealership was nothing but helpful and they were willing to go to any length to fix the problem. They also were very honest in admitting that some peoples trucks had vibrations. As for the Tundra bed bounce, you are extremely nieve if you think that problem was fixed with body mounts. I owned one.

    I had a Tundra. The body mounts fixed some peoples problems, other it did not. Read the same song and dance over their about people lemon law'ing their trucks and selling them. Also on the Willy bar, do you really want to ride around with 300 lbs in your bed to fix an engineering problem ?

    This is coming from me, an ex Tundra owner. Look man, I am not trying to slight anybody that has a vibration issue but if you think that Ford/Dodge/Toyota is immune from this problem then I have an amazing bridge I would love to sell you. This is going back some years but before dealerships had the large service departments they had now they used to farm out a lot of the work. During that time Ford had a terrible vibration problem in a few of their models. The "fix" was to swap out the customers Firestone tires for Michelins. For the majority of the vehicles this fixed the problem or masked it, for some others it did not. My family's shop made a killing swapping out tires on these vehicles. Sound Familiar ?? Yes, my 2014 Silverado had a vibration issue at 73-80 mph. Yes, my problem was made better by tires. I am sorry for others that have not had their vibration issues solved with tires. That being said, I knew I would have tire problems as soon as I saw the truck had Goodyears tires on it. I literally cringed when I saw it. Low and behold, they were so out of round that 2 of them got thrown in the dumpster for new ones. As a common saying in the tire business goes, Goodyear has never had one good year, ever. The percentage of people that have a vibration is very small. The only ones you hear about are from the people on here who make up a fraction of the Silverado owners. There are thousands and thousands of owners driving around vibration free. In fact we had three 2014/15 Silverados in the shop today for oil changes and I asked every single one and they all had the same answer, their ride was smooth as glass.

    So it solved your vibration problem or did it come back ? Your wording is a little misleading...

    You wheels and tires do not change positions. Yes, briefly during a turn and suspension cycling but they return to a normal position. By RF balancing and replacing tires, the problem was made better. If that is not anymore proof it's in the tires idk what is.
