Damn dude! I didn't need to see this, as I always wondered about other type replacements for the fobs. Too bad they didn't make a CNC machined aluminum instead of the injected plastic. Hardest decision of the day, what color combinations... LOL

Best answer, it depends. There's a lot of variables in play, especially the type of tread on the all-terrain tires, what ply and how heavy they are. I had 305/55/20's on a RC leveling kit and had 285/55/20's on Bilstein adjustable shocks set at max level and got about 15/18 city/hwy and now I have a 5" RC bracket suspension lift on the 285/55/20's. You also have to consider what type of driver you are, i.e. feather the throttle or drive it like you stole it. I am in-between as there are times when I want to hear the engine/exhaust roar like a lion or having to just get the heck out of the way of idiot drivers. All-in-all, I would say just a few mpg, more if you tow a lot also. The ride will get a little stiffer as you're changing the geometry of the suspension, to where it doesn't have as much room to move and take the brunt of the bumps and holes. I just got da beast back from the shop yesterday from having the RC 5" bracket suspension kit put on. I kept my adjustable Bilstein's up front, but put them back to stock height and put some Fox Performance Series 2.0 IFP shocks in the rear. I would have liked to put in the reservoir shocks in the back, but too rich for my blood right now. The front wheel well measures at 42" and the rear at 42.5", which was only 4" in front and 2" in the rear difference in lift over the bilstean's at the top setting and 3" blocks in the rear. I also installed a set of N-Fab LG Podium steps. Excuse the dirt, but it had been pouring down rain and had to help a friend remove a tree from on top of his shed.

Mine's been raised a little from Bilstein adjustable shocks and bigger rear blocks, so I am in the same boat on the measurement, because mine already sits higher. lol I was just curious as I am putting a 5" bracket suspension lift and was curious for my shorter girlfriend. I am hoping with my Helwig 789 helper springs it'll help with the rake and towing, as it should. I also like some rake too. I ended up purchasing the 5" RC bracket kit as you said, only bracket kits would keep the stock wheel width, everything else was putting them out 1-2+ inches. I also went with the Fox 2.0 IFS rear shocks. It's scheduled to go into the shop on June 17th. I may also throw on some N-FAB Podium steps too. Thanks for your assistance.

Thanks for the information. I was able to go back and find your posts, nice truck. What shocks did you change to? Also, have you had the lift settle any, i.e. rake not as much as it was when measurements were taken?

Sorry, I meant to say wheel spacers, as I don't want them sticking out anymore than they are. I've updated original post too. I was just looking at the zone and I am not seeing that it uses wheel spacers, is that true? If they don't please provide some more insight. thanks!

I was looking at getting a set of these. Now that you've had them awhile, do you still like and recommend? What did you end up doing with the blemishes?

Okay, I’m looking for some help from the community as I want to change up my ride to get more of an OEM ride quality, with no ass dragging and it looks like a suspension lift is the way to go. I am currently running Bilstein’s on all corners with the front at the highest setting with 3” blocks and Hellwig 987’s in the back, on Fuel Vandal d627 20x9 +1 wrapped with Ridge Grappler 285/55R20’s. I want a 4”-6” lift without changing the stock width or adding wheel spacers. I have talked to 4WP about their 6” ProComp, which have spacers and a different local shop to do an RC 5” kit, which I’ve read mixed reviews on, but I also talked to them about the 4.5” CST lift, but said they had a few customer service issues with quality and warrantying parts that break. So currently at a quandry on what to choose. I will need a shop to install it as I and not capable to do so, from a tool/time perspective. I know that to each their own as everyone has differing opinions and each company can have some bad stock but I wanted to see what else is out there and badly in need of assistance as I’ve only had the Bilstein’s or and RC 2.5” leveling kit on my two different truck. Washed it yesterday and put on OEM tow mirrors today.

Depends on how much rake you want, but 2" should be sufficient. I have 5100's all-around, with the front at full and a 2" RC block in the rear. Front before: 36 1/4" Front after: 38" Rear before: 39" Rear after: 39 7/8" There's still almost 2"s of rake.

Need some help. I am looking at purchasing the Westin HDX Drop Steps or the N-Fab Black Podium steps and wanted to get some feedback from y'all. Do either or both mount to the frame or the rocker panel? How long have you had them and are they holding up well? Would you buy them again? Also, how is the width? I have large feet, size 13 and don't want to have an issue with them fitting on the steps. I am tired of having rain or snow on the OEM and about bust my a$$ trying to get into the truck with the plastic step pieces. Thanks!

I actually bought the bed lighting kit from GM as I had a $100 off coupon. I just used the wiring harness from the kit and then bought some led waterproof lights from amazon. Well this just happened today. New shoes, 285/55R20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers and Fuel 20x9 +1 D625 Vandal wheels. I need some better picks, but these were right after they were put on and around town running errands this afternoon.
