Yeah. All works good wired in. Before, it all worked over Bluetooth as well. I'm guessing it's some Google update that blew it all up. There is an adapter clip that is in the package, snaps over the blade mount, and clips right on our trucks. Worked well on my truck. Btw, I agree, sometimes I wish GM would try not to be as "special" on this kind of stuff. Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk

My experience with Bosch blades has not been positive. Low life and horrible streaking after a short time.... Maybe I should try them again, but the last set I had weren't noteworthy at all. Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk

I have had nav-traffic pop notifications when in other areas other than the navigation functionality....Waze as an example. So, I believe the answer is it will notify when outside of the GM nav app. Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk

I had a head unit fail, and it had to be replaced. I have read here that a battery disconnect for an amount of time may fix it. Someone may chime in on more details for that. Some have reported a bad HDMI cable that may cause this. Unfortunately, a failed touch screen smells to me like a head unit failure and may require replacement (sorry). I can't answer your question specifically, but I can offer this up. I have a 2016 5.3l 8sp. Not sure where it tops out, but I know I had it past 85 mph briefly more than a few times. 84 seems odd to me, as certain areas of the country have 75mph speed limits on interstates I seem to recall.... Had the flush done (under warranty) 2 weeks ago to eliminate shudder on-set. 8sp/2016/51000mi. Eliminated it completely. In fact, I would say the transmission is very much improved overall. Fixed it for me. Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk

1. Good for you. Glad you got this irritant resolved (on your own). I am ocd and would have lost it over something like this. I feel your previous pain. 2. As far gm figuring stuff out....i am batting about .600 with dealerships figuring out legitimate warranty issues that are their issue / responsibility. Sad fact: get used to that. Ref your issue/scenario: been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Case in point : my nav head unit bought it some weeks ago. D-E-D dead. They replaced it. It was acting wonky as hell after they did though, so they told me. Kept it 3 days, no resolution. Insisted on taking it home. It was wonky, that was true, acting bizarre, but working to some degree. Disconnected battery overnight. All normal since. Don't ask me why. That worked. They didn't try that in the 3 days they had it. No judgement. Just observation. Is what it is anymore. Never run that fuel. Generally speaking, alcohol "enhanced" fuels are a false economy unless they are waaaaaay cheaper per gallon. The heating value of the fuel is inversely related to fuel economy. Therfore, lower mileaage. Sent from my STV100-1 using Tapatalk
