  1. Well congratulations on your purchase. That is a sharp looking new truck you have.
  2. I'm officially frustrated?. I have done so much research and finally purchased all the items needed to lift my truck. Afterwards I went to my local 4x4 shop to arrange for installation this Wednesday. Then today UPS brought the final pieces needed so I called my local shop to verify appointment for tomorrow and was told, due to workload he regrets to tell me I now must wait till Monday for installation. I know it's not the end of the world but " I have ants in my pants" if you know what I mean.
  3. Yeah it continues to grow on me. Each time you've posted pictures of the truck it seems to look more and more cool.
  4. Took me a moment but I guess that's the fun of a personalized plate.
  5. That looks very good. The spacers add a perfect width to your trucks stance.
  6. Got half of my parts and the rest should be here tomorrow!! Wednesday I get to drop her off to finally be lifted!!

  7. That's awesome and looks like you had a great time!! I hate being a Displaced Texan one of these days I'll get to move back home.
  8. All you need is a Tapatalk app. Everything will work fine with that. Sent by a simpleton struggling to operate an iPhone.
  9. Mine does this as well. Has done it since brand new and truck has 13.5k miles now with zero problems. Leads me to believe that the noise is completely normal.
  10. That is pretty dang cool. Smart way to use space and it looks as if GM put it there. Good job! Sent by a simpleton struggling to operate an iPhone.
  11. The way it sits now but will be growing 6" come Wednesday. Can't wait! Sent by a simpleton struggling to operate an iPhone.
  12. You may need the same update I'm at the dealership getting right now. I have a '15 SLT and started having issues with my infotainment system a few weeks ago. The dealer said there was a update specifically for the Truck/phone interaction process. I would see your dealer to see if this will help your problem.
  13. Because I am a fair debater. This is taken from GM writings as they broadcast their new model of Sierra. All Sierra 1500 models 2WD and 4WD feature a coil-over-shock independent front suspension design, with forged aluminum upper control arms and cast-aluminum lower control arms on select models. They are 23 pounds lighter and 10 percent stiffer than comparable steel components.
  14. The design of either has zero difference the only concept of a lighter product is for overall weight savings/ fuel economy. Neither will perform their functions better than the other.
  15. Steel may be a little heavier but the strength benefit provided by steel control arms out weighs the weight benefit in a truck that is used for anything considered " heavy duty " work. The trucks like Denali that aren't intended for rugged off-road use I'm sure benefit from the weight savings while traveling down the highway.
  16. Removing the ground removes the difference of potential. No difference in potential means no common term of electricity. Electrons need a reason to move. The alternator only replenishes electron it's the ground that gives the system a difference of potential aka electricity
  17. I did go with the BDS 6" and 35's. I was just stating what Rough Country told me
  18. And looks pretty dang sharp too I might add!
  19. When I spoke to Rough Country about their 6" lift they told me I could go no larger than 295/60R20 and that was one of the major reasons I chose to go with the BDS 6" as they said I could run a 35/12.5R20.
  20. tstehle, I'm not usually a fan of fender-flares on trucks but the trac-width coupled with the lift and off set of your tires make for a very good looking rig.
  21. Both tires mentioned will fit but with the 275/65 a zip tie may be needed to ensure tire doesn't rub the wheel well liner after 2.5" level installed
  22. Great looking truck by the way!
  23. 275/65R20 = 34.1X10.83R20 Diameter = 34.1 "Width = 10.83" Wheel = 20" Sidewall = 7.04" Circumference = 107" Revs/Mile = 592.2 But this always depends on manufacturer as they seem to all be different.
  24. 295/55R20 = 32.8X11.61R20 Diameter = 32.8" Width = 11.61" Wheel = 20" Sidewall = 6.39" Circumference = 102.9" Revs/Mile = 615.7
  25. That looks great! Can we have a side shot of that monster?
