  1. What size spacers did you choose, and how close is your track width after installing them? I bought 1.5" for my truck because of the BDS 6" and 35" tire install. I am hoping that was correct and haven't seen it yet as it is still in the shop after installation.
  2. I have already said so, but man that truck turned out nice. I really like it.
  3. That's what I think cause tires are the only thing the two trips have in common. Hopefully they figure it out quickly.
  4. If all they did was rotate tires and change oil and you last had them balanced and was fixed then must be something to do with your tires! Maybe a wheel weight fell off.
  5. Couldn't be more irritated. Dropped my truck off Monday to have my 6" lift and tires installed. Was supposed to get it back last night or this morning but Nooo they said running way behind and it now won't be finished until tomorrow.

  6. Today is turning out like my very first date! I thought I was getting my truck back and have been happy all day and boom nothing. Lift shop said they won't be able to give it back to me until tomorrow now. Oh wo is me, I never get lucky
  7. Holy crap!! That's ginormous. Looks great though.
  8. Jeffromx I see to no avail you have been asking members who have a lift to get roof measurements. When mine gets out of the shop either tonight or in morning I'll measure for you. Also you posted photo of Zone 5" lifted truck. Either that's a 2500 or original poster has a 4.5" zone cause I don't think Zone has a 5" for the 1500. Could be wrong but don't think so. Wow I type slow! Went back and looked and that is a beautiful 2500.
  9. Well dropping off the truck this morning to have the 6" BDS lift and 35" MT tires installed. Fingers crossed that the install goes smooth and quick! I can't wait to get my baby back.

  10. It's like the night before the first day of school. The hours aren't passing fast enough and the funny part is when I do drop the truck off I won't get it back the same day anyways

  11. I'm not usually a fan of the single cab pickups, but I must compliment yours. That is a good looking truck you got there!
  12. My baby gets dropped off in the morning to install my 6" lift and tires. Absolutely can't wait. Sent by a simpleton struggling to operate an iPhone.
  13. I really like the look of your truck. The lift plus wheels really make it look good.
  14. +1 That does look sharp. I might have to stop looking at this forum until after Tuesday when my truck is complete cause I am getting freaking jealous.
  15. I concede, if my trucks always had problems I would be a unhappy camper as well. I knock on wood that mine remains trouble free as all of my prior GM vehicles have.
  16. Dodge buy back. That should do it and the only good looking trucks on the road are GM. Always have been and always will be.
  17. I have the 2.5" rough country and it has been a good kit for what it is. Remember it's hard to go wrong with a spacer.
  18. My iPhone does that sometimes as well. It isn't the truck it's the prone. Cause when that happens I do a quick reset on the phone and it connects right away.
  19. Tell us how you really feel?
  20. Not caring about the wattage of the outlet, I have not had a single problem using mine for anything I have plugged in it. I charge my laptop, a battery charger and a small emergency air compressor. The A/C outlet seems to work perfectly for its designed proposes. I'm not a carpenter with my truck on a job sight but if I was I would have inverter installed and hooked up to the battery if needing to run high powered items. Or use a portable generator.
  21. http://tire-size-conversion.com Use that it is not perfect due to there being a difference between manufacturers actual sizes but you can compare tires and it will give you a pretty dang good understanding of the effect your new tires will cause.
  22. Well crap. Now I have the 6" BDS kit and 35/12.5r20 MT tires along with 1.5" wheel spacers for the rear and begin the waiting game till a Monday installation.

  23. Correct except for the programmers provided to the service department at GM. They have to purchase an aftermarket one and if doing that a person should just buy their own and avoid the service cost of having a GM mechanic do it.
  24. Mine told me they would if GM supplied the calibration codes. They said that they can only calibrate using their programmers to a tire supported as standard or optional equipment. Dealer also stated that when they lift trucks they buy a speedo calibration tool specific to the truck that was lifted.
