  1. yeah, I just used the panel with the cubbyhole since it pretty much was close to the width of the two switches....
  2. good to know! It sounds like finding a good intact new set is not easy -definitely will keep an eye out... Bob
  3. unfortunately everyone wants the LED ones from the SLT or the Denali - if you wanted the 2016 HID, they are going for about $600-800 a set...
  4. are you sure he isn't including labor and installation? They are selling new on Ebay for about $1400-1500 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sierra-2016-Headlamps-Pair-OEM-/272285226362?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=We0BuacPqP5y2%252FQszQIfr1yEWvk%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc and that's new - you can probably find some used ones for a little less...
  5. I can find the HID ones at a relatively good price but everyone wants the LED denali ones...no one wants that ugly amber light bulb in the middle of their LED headlight for some strange reason!
  6. the correct harness depends on if you get the 2016 HID (sle) or the 2016 LED (slt/denali) to 2014-2015... http://www.gen5diy.com/GMC/Sierra/P-P-Harnesses7/Headlamp-Harness1/20142015-GMC-Sierra-SLT-to-2016-GMC-Sierra-12-Ton-LED-Headlight-Harness/
  7. nice job - I'll definitely need to do that...
  8. who did your 4.10s and what are they, Yukons? Great looking truck!
  9. Those are even better looking up close - I like that they powder coated the lug nut areas black - those wheels combined with the fox coilovers look badass...GM should be offering those and they would get some serious activity on them....hmmm, i wonder what black lug nuts would look like....
  10. those wheels look fantastic - great idea with the black power coating and then machining the face and clear coating - never thought of that but it looks WAY better than most aftermarkets, especially on a summit white truck. NICE
  11. they look great - I have those spyders on also and love them, they seem to be more in style now
  12. I think the tow mirrors look good lifted trucks
  13. are the new gears Yukons? I'm interested in doing this when I lift my truck. Also, is this something the dealer can flash into the onboard computer or do we have to go aftermarket tuning only? thx
  14. no, I don't think so, you could just solder in at the connector, but I think your way achieves the exact same result
  15. looks good - wired into the rear 8 pin connector underneath/behind the back bumper?
  16. I say lose the spikes also....truck looks awesome, love that lift
  17. agree with donstar; check for extra leaf, different shocks, any added blocks or spacers, and different UCAs....
  18. Nitro and darkfox, thx for your guidance on these - love the switches and got mine put in and wired up...
  19. yeah, that's true - I'd like to be able to keep them on for an extended period of time like you did or it kind of defeats the purpose - I wonder if you put red lights in there and wired them to the taillights if that would be legal to run all the time at night? put in the red for running lights, put in the white for cargo and wire them to the different harnesses...?
  20. these look very cool, and I love the step footwell oznium lights - how did you wire them in? Did you splice them into the license plate light wires?
  21. you should be able to pop off the whole cover, not just the #2 part, that will get you to the plug easier.... check this out...about 35 seconds into the video....
  22. yes, I believe you are correct - I'll go out and double check - just fyi, I didn't have to remove the mirror at all, just pushed it up out of the way in order to push the invisicord/mirror tap into the #2 and #5 plugs....
  23. They should both pop out if I understand which pieces you are asking about.... pic?
  24. damn good idea - thx for sharing that
