  1. wheels look sexy on the truck....polished came out beautifully!
  2. See, it was pre-ordained that the blue ones were the right ones to put on! good choice, and now the handles need to match!
  3. that looks pretty good - I'm sticking with liking the color matched best though!
  4. I love the blue mirror caps and blue handles best. Especially with the chrome LS, blue and the chrome go together nicely. Blue, black, chrome = too much going on. you know what you're going to want to do also: paint that shark fin antenna blue!!!! it never stops!!!! I'm with you, I went back and painted the OEM handle and put that back in on my tailgate, much better quality and much more solid...
  5. I can understand - can't wait to see pix with the black trimmings on the truck - I think it will be a nice contrast
  6. I bought the same one off of ebay in order to color match it; I painted it, installed it, and also have the pop-n-lock feature to automatically lock the tailgate (since mine is a 2015). I'm wondering if maybe it was too much stress, because after a couple of days the plastic post that the center white spindle lays on snapped off! Next thing you know, my handle doesn't work to open the tailgate, I'm breaking into my tonneau cover and then opening up the tailgate access panel to reinstall my old handle.....grrrr.... hopefully that issue is not one that you will experience....again, I'm not sure if its the same ebay seller either....
  7. Truck looks beautiful - love the color matched tow mirrors - this is like the setup I'd like to do - how noisy are the M/Ts? Trying to decide between those which have a great look and the little more conservative R/T
  8. yeah, that's what I figured! oh well, I'm getting good practice at taking off the door panels at least! thx! Bob
  9. I see by one of your pictures that you also did the leds for the auto recall adjustment buttons right above the driver's door handle...I can pop off the middle cover behind the door handle itself and take out the screw, but how does that sucker come off? I didn't want to force anything and it is in there tight....please tell me I don't have to take off the whole door panel (although I did it before to swap mirrors)....
  10. Truck looks badass - what wheels and tires?
  11. got it - makes sense - thx!
  12. good point - after scratching my head, I realized that I just need to cover the source...thx!
  13. Also, on the mirror adjustment, did you only do the middle led and leave the 2 indicators alone on the outsides?
  14. Hey Chris, I'm working on putting in the gel on the driver's door handle lights - what did you do for the window module lights? There's two leds (one for the windows and one for the locks) and both have kind of a "light pipe" from the center LED to all four switches....did you put gel over just the center led, or over the four end posts? I'm assuming the led but am wondering what would show up the best.... Bob
