  1. Well the 6 inch lift replaces the knuckle and the 7inch doesn’t. RC says it will retain the same track with so we’ll see it goes.
  2. It would probably bother me but I’ll get use to it. Not a fan of wheel spacers but if I really get annoyed I’ll just pick them up. I kinda like the wheels sticking out anyways.
  3. I'm pretty dead set on the rough country. never looked into fabtech.
  4. allright gents ive been looking through this page and I haven't seen anybody that has been running on the setup that I would like to get. I have a 2015 Silverado 1500 leveled out. I am going to get the rough country 7inch lift(not the knuckle kit) but the drop down. the rims and tires I want to get is the fuel maverick 20x10 -24 offset with the nitto grappler 35x12.5R20LT. my question is I know I have to do some trimming but I want to know how much I have to trim? I know I have to cut the valence. I want to know if I have to bend back the rear fender metal portion and if I have to cut into the bumper? if any of your guys are running this setup I would really want to know what you guys did or what the shop did. thanks for the help guys.
  5. That cali swag California lean !Cali lift! Cali swag! lol I like it
  6. Dam ur truck is super super white that we can even see it huh?
  7. I thought you wanted to us the factory on and off switch for the fogs? With that setup you got for switchs your going to have to get more stuff with such as relays fuses. Check out post 799 and there's some one with the same idea as you.
  8. I wanted to hook up my light bar to my high beams so everythime I hit my highs my bar would come on. I would also have a switch to get it on and off. Now what you want I'm not sure but I know in this thread, the way I said I want has been done.
  9. Well I was going try to put my switch to the left of the steering wheel when I came to a problem. There a metal frame where I want to mount it. Then I seen another problem!! So if I wanted to drill in the panel the only spot where I won't have interference is right below the steering column. I don't know if I want it there but I am running out of options. What do you guys think? Right below the steering column or some where else?
  10. Well I finally got all the parts to wire my new switch from Ottawa. I got all wired up! Realized I got the wrong switch on which one is supped to be on when the bar is off and when the bar is on. I was supposed to get the upper half as the independent Light bar off Light bar on I had to make a jumper wire to power up the bottom half. Hopefully I can get it mounted up this week. I'm still trying to figure out how I want to mount it since I don't want to drill into my radiator support. I saw a guy on this fourm that used c clamps and I think I'm going that route
  11. I haven't seen anybody using but it looks cool. It looks like a simple installs as well. Which lights would you get?
  12. this is what I plan on getting https://otrattw.net/CONTURA-V-LED-BUMPER-LIGHT-BAR-LOWER-LED-INDEPENDENT-V1D1JBWB-PZCDR-5LB.html im going to get three cause I know im going to get more leds https://otrattw.net/Three-Position-V-Series-Switch-holder.html and for now to cover up the empty slots https://otrattw.net/V-Series-Panel-Plug.html yeah im just going to put them just to the left of the steering column. it should be to hard.ill post some pics up when I get everything.
  13. looks good to me. I like that idea!!!
  14. Thanks for the info. I see the brackets cost 150$ that's way to much for me. I'll just go to Home Depot and get some nuts and bolts and drill into the metal bars . I like that spot where u put the switch at. I was going to throw it up there my self but I decided to put my switchs to the left of my steering colum. Yes there's going to be a chance I might hit it with my knee but so far I haven't touched it with my knee yet.
  15. Cyclone how much did you pay for them brackets? And what size is your light bar?
  16. I would try to put a light bar on top of the gmc and bottom of it. I think that would look better
  17. I'll take some pics of the install. I had the light bar for a week now but I've been trying to figure out this diode situation but I'm just going to hook up the bar for now and later I'll do the diode. I'm pretty sure a 40 inch bar will fit the bottom of the grill but the top I don't know about that. You would probably have to get a single row bar for the top. I'm going to see how the grill looks like with the bar behind it and then I'll see if I want a bar up top of the cab.
  18. I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what amp diode I need. This is the light bar I got http://www.amazon.com/18000lm-Auxiliary-Lighting-Off-Road-Lights/dp/B00FWOKKGI/ref=sr_1_4?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1444598481&sr=1-4&keywords=Led+light+bar Please if someone can help
  19. When you say connet the relay wire to the power wire on the light bar. Do u mean anywhere on the power wire?
  20. Yeah I'm going to do what you did with the fog lights but with my high beams. I'll just have to figure out what size diode I need to get. I do have a question. So the from the high beam wire i T tap into it and then right behind that I got the diode and then from there i have to do another T tap into the power wire on the light bar?
  21. That doesn't look to hard. I guess I just have to find the high beam power wire and just tap into that. Do u have a video on how u did it with your light bar?
  22. Thanks I appreciate it
  23. I guess I'll have to do more research on how to do it. If its that easy I'll try it out. And yes those are the switches I like.
  24. Just bought a 32 inch led bar and doing some mock ups and it will fit perfect in the lower part of the grill! Also just ordered the rigid industries wiring kit. I don't like the switch so I think I wanna get another one. Hopefully the electrical side of the house isn't too hard.i would like to have it hooked up to my my high beams but it seems to hard for me since I don't like to mess with electrical stuff.
  25. Plastic dipped the head light bezels Before
