  1. Hey man I'm looking into lifting my truck I got a 17 z71 Silverado and I ran across your truck on forum I really like it I have my ltz 20" wheels oem and I have 33s toyo mts now on readylift 2.25 level but I want to go higher not much since I got family and I go 4wheeling but got a trailer to pull my Outlander I dont use bed.. but got a couple questions for you if you dont mind answering thanks oh about the lift and your experience with your truck

  2. You will have lots of room. Im running 35s on a 4.5 with my 1500. No trimming either. 3/4 tons are higher anyway, so you will be fine.
  3. The screen does stay bright. I solved that by placing a tinted privacy screen on my touch screen. The dash lights you can control with your brightness knob. The backlighting will come on when you turn your fogs on. I always run my fogs so my back-lit is always on.
  4. I will have to check what resistor I used. I cant remember right off the top of my head. As for the pins. You have to go diagonal of each other. When I check to see what resistor I have. I'll snap a picture for you showing the pins.
  5. I bolted it down. So it is lots sturdy ha But since it has that jut-out for where it is suppose to rest of the bed rail, it makes it much stronger. It's nice because it has a shelf in it for smaller items. Got it at Home Depot if anyone is wondering.
  6. Added a bed rail tool box at the back. I didn't want a full size tool box and also didn't want to be able to see it when standing beside the truck. So I bought this 60 inch bed rail toolbox which is a lot lower/smaller then a conventional tool box. Love the look and size. Just enough to put stuff in but not too over powering. I then added some LED lights inside. I drew power from my bed rail lights and ran it into the back with a rubber grommet. The have 4 LED blocks along the lid. You can see one of the LED blocks in the picture.
  7. No problem. Side note: If the switch is a tad loose, take your switch out and put 1 or 2 rounds of electrical tape around your switch then slide it back in. Will fit like At least that's how mine was.
  8. Wasn't that bad. First open your console lid. With it open, now you will have to pull up and back on the top grey plastic piece that goes around the entire console which is also connected to the cluster part that holds all the 12V and power supplies. Once you pull that off you will have access to the back of the plugs. You can pinch 2 prongs that remove the 12V outlets. Remove whichever one you want. Remove the socket from the plastic housing and your switch will fit right in the plastic housing piece. Clip back in and you are good to go.
  9. I got mine from Canadian Tire...however, all auto parts stores carry them. It's just a standard round led toggle. You can get them from ebay, amazon, or practically anywhere. Just search round led toggle.
  10. This is what I did. There is lots of 12V outlets so I didn't mind losing one. Still looks factory when cover is down. No modification of the hole at all. If I wanted to remove the switch and put back the 12V outlet back, I could.
  11. I recommend what i did for switch location. Love the location and keeps it stock looking! Just thought I would share since you are up in the air on location.
  12. Another pic after alittle shine session! Thought I minds of well share er!
  13. 20 inch rim is fine. I think 18's wont fit or smaller than 18. Can't remember exactly
  14. Running stock rims is the key! Once you start changing offset with aftermarket wheels is when you get into rubbing and not being able to run bigger tires. I know a guy running a 3.5 inch lift with 35s on a 2015 and has very little rub at full lock.
  15. I'm 6'2 and when I get in it, i have to do a little jump up into my truck. It def is taller than I thought it was going to be. But I couldn't be happier- I wouldn't change anything if I had to do it again. And you saying it may be the angle. Those are all true pictures. Me just standing and taking the picture. No getting down on one knee and shooting up like a lot of people try and do to make their trucks look higher haha
