  1. Forgot to mention that when I was taking the rear wheels off to install the new blocks a damn wheel stud snapped off[emoji35] So I'm at the stealership this morning to get a new one slapped on. And of course window shopping! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. Got the 2.5 rear blocks in! I wish I would have checked my tool box for a long 7/8 socket before starting [emoji51][emoji51][emoji51] thankfully Lowes is 2 miles from me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Looks killer! what are the specs on your suspension mods? Lift? level? new leaf springs or blocks?
  4. I hear you about the heat! I've been putting off a lot of work to the truck just because of it lol. I didn't snag any photos when I was at Carnegie. I was having too much fun driving. Here is a crappy shot lol. I have all my band gear in the bed that's why she looks a little saggy in the rear. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  5. Thank you! I love the way it handles. I took the truck out to the Carnegie off road park and had a flipping blast with it! Its amazing how much of a difference it is. I still have not decided if I am going to upgrade to deaver springs yet. It rides so good meow that I might hold off.
  6. Man I love RGB LED's! Are the ceiling lights RGB as well?
  7. Local book shop had Haynes repair manual for $10! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. Yes you can get Fox part #883-06-121 which is the 2.5 remote reservoir with dsc adjusters. This coil over is ment for 0 to 2" of lift. So if you want to "level" the truck you can with these. This model number also does not require an after market upper control arm to correct ball joint angles. I just installed the fox #880-06-525 which is the same shock I listed above but with extended travel and has 0 to 3" of lift with extended travel. This coil over requires an after market upper control arm to correct geometry. I went with dirt king fabrication upper control arms. This upgrade was worth every penny and that's coming from someone who swapped from Bilstein 5100 adjustable height struts and shocks. If you are not taking your truck off pavement a lot the bilsteins are an excellent strut and shock especially if you have them set at factory height! I'm doing more fast desert running and the bilsteins were definitely an upgrade but compared to the fox 2.5's it's a night and day difference! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. I actually got these goodies installed last week but it's been kinda crazy round here and I finally got logged into Tapatalk so I can post pictures! Dirt King mid travel uni-ball upper control arms with Fox 2.5 remote reservoir DSC long travel coilovers and shocks. I also installed the Dirt King extended travel shackles in the rear. 10. I went on a spending spree again and have a new set of LTZ head lights and an FX-R retrofit kit from fastheadlights coming! Now I have to explain to the gf why I have 3 sets of head lights for the truck.
  11. Looks good! What blocks did you use and how much lift are they?
  12. Thank you for posting this! What did you use to shave down the fin? Also which Front lower ball joint did you install?
  13. The build looks so good! I really love all of the mods you have done and thank you for posting all of the specs! Would you mind snapping a few photos of your front driveline cv angles? I only ask because I've read so many times on this forum that it's not recommended to go over 2.5" of lift with out a diff lowering kit because of how severe the cv angles are and pre mature wear on the drive line. Out of fear I ordered a diff lowering kit and I'm installing my fox 2.5's this week and might go over 2.5" of lift and would love to see what your drive line angles look like. If they are not to bad I might skip the diff kit hehe. I am just not to comfortable shaving down one of the diff housing fin's to make it fit.
  14. Do you happen to have the part # for the the correct clockspring for the heated steering wheel?
  15. I was torn between the King's and Fox. I ended up going with the extended travel Fox 2.5 remote reservoir coil overs with the dsc adjusters. I think I'm going to set them over the 2" closer to 2.5". I'm also installing a front diff lowering kit to make sure my angles are not to crazy.
  16. Got my new Dirt King Upper control arms in the mail today. I'm hoping to get the new set up installed next week!
  17. I ordered these which require an aftermarket control arm - 2.5 Factory Series Coilover w/ Res & DSC Adjuster | Lift 0-3" | Ext Travel / UCA Required | FOX 880-06-525 You could order the same 2.5's with out the extended travel and use your oem control arms. 2.5 Factory Series Coilover w/ Res & DSC Adjuster | Lift 0-2" | FOX 883-06-121 For the 2.0's you also do not need to swap the upper control arm. 2.0 Performance Series IFP Coilover | Lift 0-2"+ | FOX 985-02-018
  18. I have the bilstein 5100 adjustables set on the heighest setting now. I will be replacing those with these extended travel fox 2.5 coil overs which has a max 3 inch level lift with extended travel. With the fox 2.0 and 2.5 you do not need the level as they raise your truck 2" out of the box and are adjustable height.
  19. I am still waiting for the control arms to get here. I promise to post pics once I get them!
  20. There is! I have been wanting to do this myself but I got a air compressor as a gift so I'll most likely stick that wheee the extra battery tray is. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/193216-diy-engine-bay-storage/?fromsearch=1
  21. Vendor MRT kicks butt! I got my Fox 2.5 dsc coilover and shocks in two days!! Once I get the control arms I'm going to install them asap!
  22. I am suprised you can get your iPod to work in your truck! I could not get my iPod or my girl friends ipod to work at all. They said that the iPods would not work because have traditional hard disc memory and that the mylink system is only designed to work with flash memory! I have to admit that my iphone works flawlessly playing music via bluetooth or plugged in via usb. Making phone calls and answering them with the trucks bluetooth is another story When I make a call the phone and truck say I am on the bluetooth then the radio turns back on and the phone is back to headset making it seem like I am butt dialing every time I call someone. Drives me flipping crazy!
