Mine went dead about a month ago with ~66k. Still seems premature @ 2 years old...but there is a lot of electronics hooked up to these batteries. More of a pain to change too than any other vehicle I've ever seen.

Few weeks late, but I got the MBRP 5080AL installed and am loving it! Pic also shows my OE mud guards installed. Been raining so much here lately that I haven't had a chance to get her cleaned up how I'd like. Quick wash today was good enough for a quick pic though lol

I added OE mud guards and MBRP 5080AL single 3" exhaust a few weeks ago now, but it's been raining so much I've had no chance to get her shined up for pics. Loving the sound though!

Where did you get the BFG All Terrain T/A KO's (not KO2's)? I like the old design better but can't find them anywhere anymore. Truck looks good!

Installed my FX-R retrofit kit today. I already had the FX-R projectors (2.5", not 3" like I had originally thought). The size difference is noticeable; it doesn't fill up the hole for the projector like I would like it to, but it's really one of those things people will only notice if I point it out to them. I might eventually just buy the 3" and swap them out, but I am pretty pleased with the light output. On my way home from my girlfriend's house tonight, the bugs were so thick for about 5 miles there that it sounded like it was raining. Guess the brighter lights attracted an enormous amount of bugs, ha! Just a shot to give you an idea of the amount of bugs that accumulated

Not as much of a "done to..." as a "done with your K2 today." First time hooking up the boat - pulled it beautifully.

5.3 or 4.3? Really like the look of the truck as-is, even with the black plastic up front. If it's a 5.3, would you mind posting a video of this exhaust? I've been eyeing it for awhile but can't find a good video of it on the 5.3.

Ordered the fastheadlights adapter and harness today. Already had the FXR projectors and bulbs from my old truck. Also ordered some x-act liners. Can't wait to get it all put in and going!

Got around to the tailgate today. Removed the lettering and plasti-dipped the emblem. Inversed the black/chrome from what I have on the front. I'm pretty pleased with the result.

First experiment with Plasti Dip.

Man I wish I could find a new set of the original KOs. I just don't like the overboard design on the sidewall of the KO2s. Have always wanted a set of KOs and when I finally get a job where I can afford to do so, they go and switch the look to something I'm really not fond of. I do understand they're an improved tire overall though.

Sharp truck! I keep wishing I would've gone with white or red. And I will always have a soft spot in my heart for regular cabs.

I found mine on eBay for $378 but they were running a sale and went up very shortly after I bought it. Then I sold my LTZ grille to make up some of the cost (which was a big fail due to much higher-than-expected shipping costs, but that's another story).

Just an FYI, your truck is the reason I wanted the HC grille. I googled pics of it since I knew I wouldn't be able to buy a High Country a few months before I even bought the truck. The #1 thing I wanted to change was the industrial style grille and loved the factory-yet-billet look of the HC. I also think it looks better on non-HC than it does with the color-matched bumpers that the HC has. Goes well with the chrome bumper IMO.

Where there's a will, there's a way If you buy the black bowtie insert, I'd just get that color matched at a shop (or try it yourself) if that's what you're looking for. You could try painting over the gold but it'll have that texture to it and may look a little odd. Looking forward to pics of your HC grille!

That's kind of what I was thinking. I've just never been the biggest fan of the gold bowtie in the middle of all the chrome/black. Might have to mess around with some Plastidip sometime soon. I've never used it before.

Thinking about doing something along these lines for the new bowtie. Kind of an inverse of what you more commonly see with the black bowtie/chrome surround. I think it looks okay? It's just a Photoshop so nothing done yet - I do like it as is also though. Thoughts? As is: Photoshop:
