  1. I did think of disconnecting them while in the out position but as you mention, need to be certain all wiring harnesses are sealed... Also thought of pulling a fuse but chances are that would throw a code. I don't want to lock them in the in position, especially for my Short wife to get in.... I'll visit my dealer again this week and keep you posted.... ANY other ideas will be greatly appreciated....
  2. I guess I need to figure how to change my name to: North19Denali1500... I am in Northern Ontario Canada and am concerned with my Power Running Boards on my new truck when filled with slush and frozen. I searched but could not find how to lock them in the OUT position for the winter. I found how to lock in the IN position by holding the switch in the dash for 4 seconds but if I hit the switch to put them out, I cannot lock them there, it resets when restart the truck and drive. Anyone know how? Your help will be greatly appreciated. My dealer has not fond it either...
  3. The person I got my truck back from did not have details, sorry. Mine is not harder to turn than it used to be, same as new...
  4. Picked up my truck this morning and steering is back to normal, this was actually pretty painless which is a good thing...good as new... Hopefully not replaced with same as original so it does not happen again...
  5. My 2016 Silverado 2500HD now has 27,000km and has the problem. I took it in to my dealer, One writer came for a drive with me, by the time e got back the service manager had found the TSB and right away he and a tech checked a little closer and I should be back in there soon for a repair... Does feel weird driving with slop though, limiting as much as I can... I must say I feel well taken care of by my dealer up here...
  6. Pulls like a dream... no problem... "that's the seat of the pants feel"
  7. Mine leaked twice so far. Dealer will let me know when they can look at it...
