26k miles later and still love them. No issues, no leaks. As far as stiffness I'd say they ride smoother than my dad's 2018 centennial edition (but to be fair that's also riding on 22 rims). Definately smoother than my old rancho equipped silverado.
Just confirming...the 2018 have the same door harness and plugs as the 2017s? I only want to check since they all state 14-17, but since its the same body style it should be fine (though GM has been known to do some dumb stuff).
Anyone else notice the ambient light sensor kicks in the headlights way too often with way too high a sensitivity? I find just going under overpasses and evening drives when the sun is on the horizon, my light turn on. Considering I leave them dim at night it basically means I can't see my gauges in the evening. Anyway to change it?
Just curious as to what you all are using for Sierra reverse lights? I changed everything to led to keep the looks going, but unlike my old 2015 silverado... It doesn't seem like the reflectors work for the philips 921 bulbs I am using and have been using. The reverse leds worked great in my '15 silverado, but now it seems to scatter the light so much the backup camera is basically dark and useless at night. So that being said... What are you Sierra guys using?
S5086409. After about 1500 miles.... Id say if they made the muffler about 4" longer it'd be perfect. It has a bit of drone/noise at cruise, and is significantly loud at idle. Overall I like it much better than my Slp on my old 5.3
Bump. Bed lights gone.
Apparently the 2017s have a software glitch that has the backup camera at full brightness regardless if it's in daylight or nighttime mode. It doesn't dim.... Just the opposite... It ramps up to full brightness on the screen, even at night with lights on.
I went from 2015 to a 2017. The upgrades (6.2, crew cab, led lights) were all worth it to me. The only thing I don't like is the 8 speed and lower speeds. WOT is great, but its a little clunky on slow starts and cold starts.
Posted this in the wrong area... Just curious... I bought a 2017 Sierra slt. When I back up at night the screen goes to max bright when the backup camera comes on. It basically washes out seeing anything out of my mirrors and frankly makes it worse than if I wouldn't have it. What gives!?
