  1. Not today but I'm terrible at updating. I got my dimondback HD cover installed with crossbin. Thing is amazing, can't tell how good it feels to have a few Gs worth of gun/hunting equipment in the back at times without worry about a break in while I'm grabbin a snack. Also got a pretty sweet sticker for the truck. Sadly I screwed up with the install and it's slightly crooked.
  2. Does it run white and turn amber with the turn signal or is it user customizable?
  3. Holy shit, how was the guy on the bike?
  4. Just found that out recently. No idea why they didn't keep the tails the same. The difference between the two is so amazingly minor it's frustrating.
  5. I find that overhead lights or white light bugs me but the dash colors and such don't. I don't know if its more the color or position but doesn't seem to be an issue with other lights.
  6. I don't know how long you plan to keep the truck but be careful of then plastic liner as well. Those things are notorious for causing rust in the northeast.
  7. Crazy, must just be the white. Nice looking truck man.
  8. Are those the standard lights? They look way brighter than mine. Looks great.
  9. That looks pretty off to me. If there is a way you can trip the stock tip to try and get it closer to that mudflap I think it would look better. I'd try and aim at having it in the middle of the black painted area if it were me.
  10. I was just going to say, looks like a tie rod to me...
  11. Can't believe they didn't make a larger tank size an option for the 2019's. Like @MikeNH I travel a minimum of 400 miles a week, add in weekend trips and trips to the gym and such and I'm pushing over 600 easy. I feel like I'm at the gas station all the time. Does it help that I lifted it and put 35s on it? No. Would I gladly pay for a 2x gas tank? Yes. I see diesel aux tanks a lot but never see gas tanks. From what I've read there is issue with them leaking fumes and the lower flash point compared to diesel.
  12. @2017_whitez71 I just got one of those myself, made a huge difference. No more stuff rolling around under the rear seat. Can't wait for my diamondback to get here with the cross bin storage. Going to have so much secure storage.
  13. oh! Clever idea of using the plastidip as the base. I hadn't thought of that before. That's nice as it should make removal of paint both possible and easy (at least compared to paint alone).
  14. Added amber colored fog light covers. Covers seem like they are solid quality, but not all impressed with the cut. Would have much preferred to buy my own and cut to size. Look good on the truck though, can't wait to get the bumpers line-xed as it will really help with the look. (she also needs a bath, which she's getting tomorrow or Sunday.
  15. Damn, I've heard of the paint rubbing but never thought about the rust. How long did you have the flares on for? Makes me second guess if I should still get them.
  16. Don't have the headliner yet, thats prob a good 2 years down the road, toward the end of the mod list. I got the RB-20 over the 10s as I've heard they are less likely to get snow build up. The slit on the 10 is thin enough and faces forward so it's likely to catch a ton of snow on the highway. Once the snow packs in it can turn to ice and obviously that's an issue for traction. The RB20s should be less of a problem there as they are directly vertical holes rather than angles slits. This winter should help see if that's true or not. Fingers crossed but planning on buying some mudflaps regardless, should help protect the paint as well.
  17. Wrapped interior brushed aluminum trim with kryptek typhoon matte. Not 3M brand and it was an "upgraded" exterior version so it was tacky as hell. The lady I spoke with on the phone said it was about the same level of difficulty to install and wouldn't leave residue but even just during the initial application when I pulled up there were multiple times I saw residue. Made certain parts of the wrap look slightly different (areas I pulled up vs didn't) and complex corners were hell. All in all though I like the look and I've got more than enough to wrap another truck interior or other stuff. Expensive as hell but I really love kryptek and the truck has a theme now (matching seat covers). Additionally I installed the Go Rhino RB20 steps. Pretty straightforward install although I had to punch out a hole for bolts and file as it wasn't punched out during assembly. Went in fine, instructions were slightly off from parts they gave me (maybe difference in years) but was pretty straight forward, no major complaints during install. I do wish that the mounts were thinner as when you walk up to the truck you can clearly see the 4 points it mounts to the truck. Also wouldn't mind if it was slightly tighter to the body, most of the videos made it seem like it was, but for whatever reason it isn't in my install. Lastly the front is slightly wider than the rear. Actually sort of lines up with the additional 1.5" track width in the front. Steps are pretty grippy overall, interested to see how much snow they collect during the winter. Next up is installing my amber lamin-x fog light film and hopefully by end of month my diamondback cover. Also ordered a husky rear storage bin as I've been carrying everything (straps, jumper cables, bungee cords, first aid, etc.) around in an old backpack. I really went hog wild the past few weeks and need to calm it down a bit. Still a bit left I want to do (Upgraded stereo, line-x front and rear bumper, line-x chrome mirror caps, new grille, custom badges front and rear, front and rear off road lights) and some things I'm up in the air about (possibly line-xed fender flares, blackout the tan headliner trim and black US flag headliner, grille guard). For now though she will probably sit for the rest of the year. Need to let the bank fill back up to a more comfortable level and I've got my eyes on a scar 17s so we will see what happens there.
  18. Nothing to show for it yet but finally pulled the trigger on a diamondback tonneau cover. Was back and forth between the cover and a cap for a while but in the end the lower cost, higher durability and "truck look" of the tonneau won me over. Confirmation said I should be receiving is in 3-4 weeks. Fingers crossed it's sooner. Also have some other mods I've done that I haven't yet posted. This weekend shes getting detailed and 2 more tiny mods and I'll upload some pics.
  19. @Roscopcoletrain Looking at getting the amber ones for mine to match the tow mirrors.
  20. @Stockredsierra Man that truck looks great. Love the color bro and great job on the detail. @Waterfowler41 Are you going to paint the chrome surrounding as well or planning on keeping that? @Eddie 70 My thoughts exactly man. I'm one state north and after a early morning range trip it started to get brutally hot out there. No way I could detail my truck today. I don't even know how you can unless you have some sort of overhead coverage as the sun has got to be baking the water on. Every time I've tried mine in any sort of sun/heat I get crazy water spots.
  21. Kind of hard to see any texture. Is it as aggressive as line-x? Looks a lot softer. Spray can?
  22. Ah, yeah I think most wraps are matte. Def a balance but yours is well done with properly fitted seat covers not the autozone specials so I think if you choose to wrap it can be a nice simple touch. To each their own though. I'm a big fan of kryptek and am wrapping mine as soon as the wrap shows up.
  23. Ah, yeah fair enough. The added length is a bit of a pain on these already long wide turning trucks. I'm looking at adding a grille guard similar to what you've got here, was wanting one with a winch option like an oldschool warn grille guard but have been struggling to find exactly what I want. Truck looks great though. When you going to wrap the interior to match the seats?
  24. What ever happened to the grille guard man? Love that spoiler on her though, adds a nice little something extra.
