  1. Where did you get those smoked lenses? Are they OEM or do they fit OEM? I also swapped with pgamboa's wiring and couldn't be happier.
  2. It's also large enough for business/credit cards. I keep my garage RFID sensor and my gas rewards card there. I never knew it could fit a dip tin though, might have to change it up and put some cope in there.
  3. I finally got around to installing my stage 2 aFe intake. Makes the engine bay look much cleaner (although it needs a cleaning) and it could be just my ass and pocketbook but I feel like the throttle response is better now. Need to sync data and get BBP to adjust the tune for me now that I've got an intake and exhaust.
  4. I think there may be something different about the front ends of the 1500 vs the 2500 that's more than just the bumper and hood as I've seen a few and they just don't look right. They often dont line up the grille with the bumper either. Unsure what the difference is here but my $0.02 is that if you want a 2500 get a 2500, otherwise keep the front end 1500. It is a great looking truck.
  5. @HCSilvey Thats a nice sticker on your rear window. ;)
  6. Don't do it bro. You'll look like one of those synthol dudes where your biceps are huge and you're forearms are tiny. Proportions just never look right.
  7. Dude, you can't be posting photos of that beautiful diesel in the 1500s section. It was hard enough not buying one on the lot, now you're here teasing it? What are you trying to do to me?
  8. Night and day difference man. Looks amazing. I really wish I could get away with that.
  9. The weird fake diamonds. I agree. I'll admit, it's growing on me more though.
  10. @shadrickjm I love those runningboards. I've been thinking about getting some after deciding against the amp research due to cost and complexity. Any chance you have a shot of the whole side of the truck? I'm curious how it looks with the bed.
  11. They make one for the GMC with red buttons. I also hate the buttons but if the color is the only problem, well solved.
  12. @Spurshot Looks like a great dog man. I just got mine this past July. Remi is my second lab, great dogs. Heard nothing but good things about pointers as hunting dogs.
  13. @Spurshot Always annoying when you push back something easy and it causes more damage. Looks like a black lab from the photo? Got a brown one myself just last year. Boy does he love to fetch.
  14. It's a surprisingly useful feature.
  15. I had no idea this wasn't standard.
  16. Ah, my favorite. The Pep Boys Special Edition.
  17. @Korazu Have you tried any of the "off brand" versions? Curious to know how they compare. I prefer to just buy once so if it's clearly a better product I'm ok with the one time, but it seems to mechanically simple that I wonder what the value is. Although the one that @Sierra Jon linked seems to have a few poor reviews that describe leaking, it seems easily fixed with a simple rubber washer.
  18. @Korazu Appreciate the info but that's a bit rich for my blood. I think I'll stick with the amazon special and can upgrade later if needed. I don't know that I'll see a huge difference between the two as long as I'm using good soap. Famous last words I suppose.
  19. @Sierra Jon Thanks man! I've recently started looking into how to better take care of the paint. I was washing the truck pretty religiously last year but for some reason water spots developed and I haven't been able to get them out. Maybe it was too hot out or my water has too much metal in it but I'm trying to do whatever I can to keep her nice. Going to take to her to a professional this spring once the weather clears and have her detailed.
  20. @Sierra Jon How do you like the foam cannon and what brand do you have? I've been thinking about getting one, not sure if it's worth the cost.
  21. I do like blacking out the B pillars on colored trucks. I think it looks better, more clean. Looking forward to seeing it man.
  22. Interesting. One would assume that as long as the mats were deep enough to cover back and up there would be no way the pedal would be stuck. Guess it makes sense that GM doesn't want to take that chance though.
  23. I upgraded to the Husky liners last fall. I had the OEM floor liners in as well. They were top notch quality and I would have kept them if not for that cutout. I don't understand why that even exists. Especially in any area where you have to worry about snow and salt.
  24. @noJeepshere Bummer about the truck man. Kids right?
  25. @wforrest08 I really wish I had known about them prior to getting my reverse LEDs. I got some brand off Amazon that I'm not sure will last. Would really prefer supporting Local/USA so I'll have to give them a look next time.
