  1. If you go to the dealer, double check they didn’t just add resistors and said they flashed something. Not that I’m skeptical or anything... just jaded. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Ive actually had this happen as well... Mine would “pick up” when I hit the button, but never hear or understand me. Really annoying. So it’d be telling me what I can say, go ahead, etc... I’d be yelling at my truck. Handsfree calling still worked, so it wasn’t the mic. Brought it by the dealer and after 30 minutes they came back and said it was fixed. They had unplugged my dash cam and it started working. I’m not one to argue with success, but I ended up plugging it back in after leaving and I haven’t had a problem since. Who knows. I think it’s likely a coincidence that it started working right then. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Just an update: after getting ios12, the problem has disappeared. Maybe it was a problem on Apples side. I’m having other, non-CarPlay related issues... maybe they can update it anyway while it’s in the shop... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Mine just arrived... it’s v8.4 green. Works on my 16, so I figure I’ll wait to send it in until they have an update for the 19s in case I ever decide to upgrade. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. There are options out there. It should be super simple for an installer for the most part. Some of the alarms interface with the truck and have it do all of the work. I believe xpresskit is what’s used for directed, viper, Clifford, etc. You can look up the website to see the install instructions and capabilities. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I have the 107sx and my only complaint is the nipple size... very hard to keep a tube attached in my experience. If I sit and babysit it, no problems. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Is it possible to key the lock to the old key if he just got one lock? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. I would guess that option is only available when there is a route active. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. When was the last time you filled it with gas? I’ve heard of instances where the station somehow filled the tanks with water or something. Never know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Just curious... does it ALWAYS route you around interstates and highways? If so, there’s a setting in there that controls your preferred roads. I don’t have the navigation option, so I can’t tell you exactly where. But, it’s there. I’d make sure that stuff is setup correctly. Not that android auto or CarPlay aren’t great... but if for some reason you needed this Navi, it’d be nice if it’s working properly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Wow... my truck is nearly identical and I thought I got a good deal at 34... dang! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Yup. It’s tied to the map data used for the navigation. As others have pointed out, this can be out of date. Be careful. Very cool feature, though. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Does the voltage change at the motor when you change the fan speed? If so, it would seem like it’s working. I would guess full speed, the motor should be reading somewhere around 12-14 volts. Just from what you’re saying though, if the fans getting power and isn’t moving, unless there’s a fuse on the fan, I’d guess it was toast. Could be wrong though. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. To be really honest, assuming you’re not having problems with the truck, it sounds like it may not be the perfect fit now.. but with travel trailer plans, it may make more sense than you think... payload, towing and all of that stuff aside, one of the biggest benefits with your diesel is filling up while towing. You can go to the larger fuel islands and not have to worry about hitting the overhang, and since they’re made for semis towing, you’ll usually be able to maneuver easier. Looking at your last post, if there’s issues, maybe it doesn’t make sense if it’s a ticking time bomb. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. There are updates, but without sending it in to a third party, you’re not going to get the new features from the newer models. I’m in a 16 too, but from what I understand, they added a mostly useless App Store, a signal indicator for the on star lte and maybe a few other things. The big stuff like CarPlay and Android Auto made it to most of the 16s. Early ones missed out and got a $200 credit instead. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
