    As stock diameter for the 5.3 it's 2.75". The only way you can minimize any drone or v4 chopper is keeping resonator and flapper and going with the quietest muffler there is out there.     I'm also starting to experience this problem with my 2016 Silverado. My question is I have lowering shackles in the rear and I'm hesitant to take it to the dealer for the clunking because I feel like they'll blame the shackles. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

    It's my understanding that those illuminated bowties fit '16 and '17 Silverado's only. I may be wrong though.

    I have their Carven R muffler on my 5.3 and it looks like they only go up to 3" inlet.

    When you order the GM Borla cat back you'll get the flapper. In your situation since you're only swapping the muffler you don't need a flapper. Your flapper is behind your stock muffler.

    I'm curious how easy it is to adjust the kit. Is it something you can do in your garage? I chatted with someone from Mcgaughys and they told me I would have to take the truck apart and do the changes then put it back together and get it aligned every time I adjust it. Is this true?
