Having helped a friend install a Katzkin interior several years ago, one thing I highly recommend is to do it in the sun on a warm day. It helps to have the leather warm as it stretches over the seats a lot easier. A hairdryer also helps. Just let the leather get nice and warm before you start the install and keep it warm as you work it in. The difference in the final product were highly evident. The seat we did the warm leather install on looked nice and smooth and fit great while the seat we did in his garage had some ever so slight fitment wrinkles. It still looked very good but you could tell the difference, for sure. If I decide to keep my 2022 Elevation long term, I'll be ordering a Katzkin kit and will opt to have them install it. Mostly because I don't have the time but I also want it to be perfect.

My first thought is the alignment as it could be out of spec. Also, even if it is in spec, 'in spec' does not mean that it will track straight and true. My 2020 Elevation wandered a bit and an alignment corrected it.

I've been using 303 Aerospace cleaner for years. The cover on my 2017 Denali looked like new when I traded it in back in January. It was still dark black and looked just like the brand new cover I put on my 2020 Elevation. Both were Truxedo tonneau covers.

It's a very good controller and the one I have too. See my post above on this. I opted to install it to the lower left of my steering wheel so it's out of sight. The blue lights are bright and somewhat annoying located out in the open like in your pic, just FYI. Lots of reviewers have stated this and I'm glad I listened to them. I recently traded in my 2017 Sierra Denali for a 2020 Sierra Elevation that didnt have the factory brake controller. After some research, and my dealer's recommendation, I ended up putting in a Curt Spectrum controller, C51170. The brain mounts hidden underneath and it has a knob that can be mounted wherever you want. I chose a spot to the lower left of the steering wheel so only I can see it but still have easy access. It's as close to an OEM look as you're going to get while still having an excellent brake controller. It is also super easy to install as its completely plug-n-play with the purchase of the OEM connector, C51525. I just picked up my 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation that came with the uber lame manual dimming mirror without universal garage door opener controls. I've been looking into this and there is a mirror listed as a direct replacement that has the universal garage door opener but still has manual dimming. If the auto dimming mirror plugs right in to the harness that's there, why won't the auto dimming mirror with garage door opener plug right in? Here's a link to it.
