  1. I had problems with mine cutting out anytime i turned mine up. I’m running a JL HD 600/4 and 750//1 on a stock alternator and battery. About 4 months ago I unplugged the regulated voltage control and have not had any issues at all since then. I no longer have the fluctuating voltage, just a constant 14.
  2. Tweets are in the factory dash location. Read below for the rest of my gear.
  3. Will be installing theses today in my ‘16 doors. The GB10 tweets were installed a few weeks ago.
  4. There is a space either above or below the molex to run new wire. It can be a PITA!!. Run a coat hanger from inside the door into the footwell and tape the new speaker wire to it and pull it thru.
  5. Give it a try. You might be surprised
  6. Don't you know that you should be unique and have a black truck that's all blacked out and not have anything flashy on it?
  7. Are your fog lights yellow?? If so where did you get them?
  8. How long did it take you to do this?
  9. Welding cable is a hell of a lot cheaper. Look at Temco
  10. Or you can get inside the headlight switch and remove the spring that keeps them on auto. Takes about 10 minutes
  11. I totally agree with Nasty. Bose systems are heavily EQ'd to work specifically with their speakers. In my opinion it's a total waste of time to install new speakers into a Bose system. They're still going to sound like Schiit. Installing an amp is relatively easy and decent ones can be had for not a lot of $$$. Might as well do it right the first time.
  12. I have to try this. Thanks for the tip.
  13. I have the same on my truck. I hope for your sake that you don't live in an area of salt on the roads in the winter. Mine are all pitted after just a winter and a half. My truck is only driven on the weekend and was rinsed very well with a pressure washer before being parked for the week.
  14. Had the Magnaflow installed and the tailpipe turned out in front of the wheel.
  15. This will be getting installed tomorrow.
  16. $358 in Michigan this week to get personalized plates and to renew my CDL.
  17. Yes. Gives it four positions.Fairly simple mod, took me about 15 minutes.
  18. Removed the spring from the light switch. No more auto on.
  19. On mine there was another grommet within the bigger grommet. Once i removed it from the inside i had no problems getting O gauge wire thru. Unbolting the black box will give you just a little more room to get in there.
  20. Any idea on how much you cut off? Any idea on how much you cut off?
  21. Left front...Blue +. Brown/blue - Right front...Yellow. Yellow/black Left rear...Green. Green/black Right rear...white. Blue/black. This is for a crew cab. I assume the double cab is the same. If your just doing a sub I would tap into the rear at the "B" pillar. Its pretty easy to get to. If you're going behind the radio these wires are in the green plug on the far left.
  22. Just had the same issue with mine. They put more double sided tape on it and so far it is holding.
