  1. What does it measure from the center of the wheel hub? Measuring from the ground will change results because of tire height and Im curious how mine compares. Mine is 34" from ground, but I'm on a 285/50R20
  2. Yeah, see that makes sense. Look at Belltech here. 7" flip kit uses factory hanger, 5/6" uses the new adjustable one. Same info Maxtrac had on their site.
  3. Not according to Maxtrac, but possibly. What do you measure from center hub to top of wheel well? I'm around 18.5" rough measurement.
  4. Here is the hanger. You can see the bed seam folded over to get it as high as possible.Looking at that, I dont think I could get a shorter shackle if I wanted to.
  5. Shows 5/6 here. https://maxtracstore.com/2007-2014-chevy-silverado-1500-2wd-4wd-5-6-adj-rear-flip-kit-maxtrac-301360/
  6. I'm already at the lower setting. The Maxtrac flip with hanger is 5" or 6" depending on the holes used. I believe to acheive 7" I should've kept the stock hanger.
  7. If you have a good die grinder and an air chisel, not horrible. The space is kinda tight is all. I need to find a good shackle to add to give me 7" drop.
  8. I really only notice it if I measure it. I suppose with my big ass always in the driver seat it is to be expected that side would sit lower. Also... I decided to explore the rear vibrations/chevy shake I was encountering. First, the driveshaft. If you watch the rotation here, it seems to have some movement. Could very well be out of true slightly. Then, on to the axle shaft flanges. Here are videos of each side and they are definitely not round.
  9. Just checked mine out, I am about 1/2" higher on the front right. Still about a 1" rake in the back overall.
  10. Looks good, makes me want to go 1" more to 4/7 all the way around on mine.
  11. As I understand it... On single u-joint slip yoke driveshafts your adjust so that operating angles match. If driveshaft is 8deg. and tail shaft is down 2deg. then it has 6deg. operating angle. You need to shim the axle to 2deg. up so that its operating angle is also 6deg. (using arbitrary #'s for this example) See link: https://www.drivelinesnw.com/part-trouble-shooting/vibration-analysis/angle-analysis/measuring-and-correcting-angle-problems/
  12. I would never cut a slip yoke. I would shorten the driveshaft itself. My Maxtrac flip kit has an off center pin hole in the hanger bracket that shifts the axle back slightly to give the driveshaft room. You could drill another hole in your hanger to do the same thing, but if you're finicky about the axle being perfectly centered in the wheel well I would not suggest it; it moves it back an inch.
  13. Looks good, what tire sizes? You're 4/7?

  15. It is a bit deceiving, but it looks great. Even much better in person versus photos.
  16. It's a little off, but not much. I only have the lower arm, and I went lower with the strut too, so I'm sure that effects it.
  17. I vote second best, I'm biased to this one haha!
  18. Thats a hard picture to capture. The truck is low haha
  19. 285/50R20 and the wheel is 10" wide with a +10mm offset. I heard it BARELY kiss the felt liner once at full lock, but really no rubbing at all. I think I could do a 295 or 305 without much trouble.
  20. I will check that out tomorrow. I ran out of daylight waxing it after work.
  21. Updated. Moved the rear kit to the 6" setting. We are now 3/6 drop. Kit is a mix of parts DJM front lower control arm Belltech strut front set to 1" drop Rear Maxtrac flip kit set at 6" setting Rear Belltech shocks
  22. Update. Took the extra inch out of the back, it is now 3"/6". 4x4 rcsb z71 and the kit is a mix: Front DJM front lower control arm Front Belltech strut set to 1" drop Rear Maxtrac flip kit on 6" setting Rear Belltech shocks
  23. You'll be hard pressed to find another set. They're discontinued. Great for me because I'll have a unique wheel, bad for me if I ever break one.
  24. I'm pretty happy with them. They don't look like 20's though.
